Chapter 5

Rosemarys POV

I woke up feeling less nervous than yesterday. Today is my first day of classes at Hogwarts! Having friends in some of my classes makes it a lot better. I look over to see my other roommates still asleep. I take this as a blessing and get out of the bed quickly wanting to shower first. I washed my hair last night, so I am just taking a quick body shower. I wrap my two braids up, so they don't get wet and hop into the hot water. It feels amazing letting the hot water run down my back. I take a moment to collect my thoughts and to calm myself for the day ahead. After doing Everything in the shower I get out and wrap up in a towel. Standing at the sink I brush my teeth and do my skin care routine. I quietly get out of the bathroom and see that one of the girls has woken up. I say good morning and head to get my uniform out. Putting on my tights, skirt, and undershirt. I decide to wake up Dani before doing my hair and makeup. Standing by her bed I reach my hand out and lightly shake her " Dani it's time to get ready for class". She groans before opening her eyes and glaring at me."I want you to be able to shower and everything" I say trying not to laugh. " fine whatever " she says while sitting up. I walk back over to my desk and begin to put on some light makeup before I undo my braids and brush it out leaving my hair curly. Dani gets done out of the shower and I put the rest of my uniform on and get my books ready for class.
Dani finally gets ready and we make our way to the great hall for breakfast. We find a sit and I'm still feeling a little nervous so I decided not to eat a lot. Only having some fruit and some juice to drink.( author- am I the only one who can't eat during breakfast especially if I'm nervous about something. I always feel sick.)
I'm not too excited for my first class its charms and I don't really care for that. I hope it's not too boring, at least I'll have Dani. We finish breakfast and head to the charms classroom. Me and Dani pick to sit in the back since we both don't care too much about this class.

Time skip~ lunch

Finally, its lunch, charms class was boring, but my other classes were good. I'm starving since I didn't eat breakfast and I'm not nervous anymore so I'm able to eat now. Me and Dani make our plate and being to eat. I haven't seen Draco yet; I hope his day has gone good so far. " gosh I'm stuffed, I ate so much" I say while laying my head on the table. The people surrounding me chuckle and go back to their own conversations. Dani rubs my back and agrees. I sit up and look around to try and catch Draco's eyes. I see him and other Slytherins all gathered talking about something. Odd I thought but shake it off and go back to talking to Dani about random stuff. We have two classes left for the day then freedom.

Time skip~ last class of the day

Me and Dani Walk into our last class of the day which is DADA. I heard that their old professor resigned so who knows who the new professor is about to be. We picked a table in the middle and sat down getting our books out. I look around and notice some friends of mine. Harry, Ron, Hermione, and then Neville who I've met in class. We still had a few minutes before class, so I get up and do say hi to everyone. First going to Neville and patting his shoulder" hey Nev! Glad to have another class together" I say smiling. He smiles up at me and says, " hello Rosemary nice to see you again too." I wave goodbye and walk up to the trio. " Hey guys I'm excited to finally have a class with you" they all look up and smile when they realize it's me. " Hey Mary" they all say, and Harry speaks up " Hermione told us your schedule and said we will have potions all together." I nod and say " I can't wait! I better get back to my seat I'll see y'all later" waving and heading back to my seat. I sit down and make sure I have everything while the rest of the students pile in. This man's barges in spooking us. "Woah who is that" I quietly mumble to Danica. " Mad-eye moody" she replies I make a confused face, who the hell names their kid that. I shake it off and try not to doze off during his lecture. He starts to talk about the unforgivable curses, and I perk up wanting to listen. My father told me about them. He takes out this creature that I've never seen before. He begins to hurt the creature with one of the cures. I Stand up angrily" Stop what are you doing! Can't you see it's hurting the poor thing!" I yell at the man. The man laughs at me and uses the killing curse on it. "You are no teacher! you are horrible!" I yell, everyone gasping and looking back at me. Dani try's pulling me back down in my seat, but I push her hand off and stay standing up staring at the man. He angrily runs up to me but it's more a hobble and gets in my face" 100 points from Hufflepuff young lady!" He turns around and I sit down mumbling "like I give a shit" letting out a huff. Dani looks at me shocked" I can't believe you said that to him, it was pretty badass thought "she said as I giggle. Suddenly a note in the shape of a crane floats on to my table from behind me. I hesitate and Dani gives me a look to open it. It reads
" That was pretty cool of you to yell at a professor like that, also party tonight in Slytherin common room at 10pm look nice- D.M".
I look behind me and see Draco two tables away. I smile and give him a thumbs up. I slid the note into my robes pocket and whisper to Dani " party tonight at Slytherin and we are so going" Dani smiles real big agreeing. There better be alcohol. Class ends finally and me and Dani run out to hurry to our dorms to pick out outfits. We change out of our uniform and into comfy clothing seeing it's only 4 o'clock. We decided to go walking around outside while waiting for dinner.
