SHREYA

"Mommy, please talk to dad." Ved requested.

I didn't know since when he became daddy's boy. But I can't tolerate the fact that he team up with my son and now against me.

"Vedant!" We heard his voice from the living room.

I made my way towards the living following Ved. There everyone was.

I smiled.

"Bhabhi, we should take our leave." Jhanvi said.

I nodded.

"Take care." I said, they all nodded.

"Bye dad/chachu." Ved and Nivi said simultaneously.

He kissed their heads.

Jhanvi and Ishaan were going to meet her parents. Nivi was insisting Ved to go with her. Ved was also requesting me to go with them as he's missing Delhi. Maa is also going.

"Chachi, down to earth." Nivi giggled.

I just smiled and kissed her forehead along with Vedant's.

They all sat on his taxi, and waved at me. So did I.

They left leaving me alone.

I went back to my work, like brooming, moping, laundry etc. I looked at the time, it was past 5 in the evening. He will be returning at night.

As I was tired of doing all these work, I decided to get a fresh bath. Stripping myself I stood under the shower. I took a refreshing bath and came out. I dried my hairs and tied them in a messy bun.

Then my sight fell on the dried clothes on the bed and thought to fold them. A lot of clothes was of Ved's and a few were his dad's.

I ironed them and folded neatly and kept them on their respective cupboards. Just then the bell rang. I made my way towards the door and opened it.

As expected he was there, but he's early today. I didn't look at him neither he. He without even glancing at me went to the room.

I closed the door back and locked it. And then I made my way towards the kitchen and made a cup of coffee for him. When I came out he was sitting on the couch his gaze fixed on the television.

I shrugged and placed the cup infront of him. He didn't move his gaze  from the television.

I made my way towards the kitchen. I made the chapati along with vegetable curry and set the table. He stood from the couch and came to sit around the dining table. I sat beside him and served him and served myself too.

We both didn't say anything. Ate in silence. If Ved or Nivi is here, this will never be like this.

Just then his phone rang. He attended it and kept it on the table on speaker.

"Dad, we are in train." Ved exclaimed.

"Did you had something?" He asked, with a smile.

"Chachu brought me Lays." Ved said.

"I told you earlier not to eat that Lays much." I said, more likely to be scolded.

"C'mon sweetie it's okay." Ved said.

"Where's Nivi?" I asked.

"She is angry with Chachi and now went somewhere. Chachu went behind her." I heard his giggle.

"Chachi is here." He said.

I hummed.

"Haa she's here." Ved said.
