My suitcase landed with a thunk on the ground.

I looked out my window and onto the ground where my suitcase was lying.

Huh it's not that far. Besides I'm a werewolf, so no problem. I thought to myself.

I jumped out the window, grabbing my suitcase as I landed.

I had thought about how I was going to tell my parents goodbye.

Well not actually tell because.... Yeah anyyyyways.

I wrote a letter.

It says...
-------------------------------------------
Dear mom and dad,
I'm sorry but I can't stand the life I'm living. The town is lifeless. Your lifeless. My life is lifeless. Its dead. Theirs nothing at all. So I've decided to leave. Even though you never really acted as parents, you still let me live in the house and provided me with a couple of things I needed. I saved up money from doing jobs at the Johnsons cafe. I'll be ok. Even though you probably don't care that I'm gone. Anyways goodbye and have a good life.

With little love,

Ember

-------------------------------------------

I ran to the edge of the road, turning around to have one last look at the little grey house.

It wasn't home.

I turned around and followed the road until about 6:00.

I was in another state by now.

I had decided to leave at about 2:00 am so I knew that my parents were asleep.

Just as I was about to sit down and rest a car pulled up beside me.

"Umm hi mam, do you need a ride somewhere?"

He wasn't a werewolf.

I could smell the sour, human blood that ran through his veins.

"No thank you." I replied.

He was about 18 or 19. He had blonde hair, and haz3l eyes.

He wasn't that bad looking.

"Oh well, I don't mean to push it but the next city or anything isn't for another hour drive. It'd probably take you 2 or 3 to walk their."

"Oh...well that's ok. I don't plan on stopping anywhere. I just plan on passing through. I'm not headed anywhere particular." I told him.

"Well if you say so. Have a nice day."

"Thank you, you to." I told him as he drove off.

Well here goes nothing. I thought to myself as I dragged my bag along with me.

I finally made it to the next city.

It was larger than the city I came from.

It didn't take long for me to smell the salt mixed with the ocean.

Wait ocean?

Sure enough, as I walked a couple more miles, I could hear the roaring ocean.

I walked towards the sound until I came to a small sand dune.

I walked over it, taking in the breathless scenery.

Finally a beautiful change of view.

I walked along the beach with my suitcase, following it to a restraunt.

"Gjjfdfjhtesbjgujbdyjb." My stomach growled.

"No you can wait a bit longer." I told it out loud.

Then the smell filled up my nostrils.

Werewolf's.

I'm not a rouge and don't even belong to a pack, so they shouldn't try to harm me.

I'm just a lone wolf.

I walked through the streets taking in the view.

I wander where I was.

People (werewolf's mainly) stared at me as I walked through the streets.

"Excuse me." A voice said behind me.

I turned and---WHACK!
