"You skipping, nigga?"

I turned around and laid my eyes on Thebe.

"No, I am not. I'm getting some water." I said, holding up the small bathroom pass, tied across my wrist. "The fuck you doing, Neruda?"

He glared at me hard. "You not gone let me live that shit down are you?"

I laughed and turned to walk away. "Nope."

"Hold up damn." He said, running after me.

"You better catch up nigga." I said,

"Or you betta slow down, the water fountain ain't going nowhere."

"And unfortunately neither is your mouth." I snapped back.

He caught up to me. "You think your ass slick with those little jokes and shit."

I laughed. "I don't think, I know."

"Whatever."

I looked over at him and laughed. He looked at me and raised a brow. "The fuck wrong with you?" He asked.

I just laughed louder.

He shoved me. "Chill, I ain't supposed to be out here, I snuck out of class."

I punched him his shoulder, causing him to groan and grab it. "Keep talking shit." I hissed.

"You do damn abusive."

I shrugged. "I give no fucks."

"I'm telling!" He said.

I chuckled and shook my head. "Pussy ass fuck."

"Man, I'm going back to class," Thebe whined.

"Bye lil bitch." I said.

He flipped me off and turned around walking away. I walked downstairs to the water fountain, I can't stand using the ones upstairs they were so damn dusty.

I grabbed a drink and started head back upstairs when something caught my attention.

Mrs.June was talking to someone, it was a girl. Not someone I knew, thought. Which meant she was new. She had brown hair with green highlights, fairly tall, kinda pale skinned and skinny, kinda limped over too. She look like she just got her ass beat.

Once her and Mrs.June finished talking she turned away and caught sight of me. I started to reach in my pockets to act like I wasn't staring at her. I looked back up and she was glaring at me, almost like a mean mug. Squinting her eyes sorta,
