❄️❄️❄️
Some days later, everything seemed to be going fine, or at least that's what Jimin, Jin, Hoseok, Jungkook, Namjoon, and Yoongi thought. For Taehyung, however, the same sufferings continued to haunt him.
After dinner, everyone gathered in the hall, flipping through an old photo album. Jungkook pointed at a picture and asked, "Hyung, who is this boy?"
Jin glanced at the photo and replied, "It's Taehyung."
Jungkook added with a smile, "He looks so cute while crying."
Jimin chimed in, "He used to be a crying baby back then."
Yoongi laughed, "I remember one time I accidentally dropped his favorite mug, and he started crying like there was no tomorrow."
The brothers laughed together, and even Taehyung managed a small smile, remembering those old memories. He recalled how Yoongi had tried to cheer him up back then. His thoughts were interrupted by Jin's voice, "So enough now, let's have a rest. Good night, everyone."
With that, all the brothers went to their rooms.
As the night continued, Taehyung found himself lost in a series of painful memories, each one a testament to the love, care, support, and trust he had given, only to receive little to nothing in return. These memories were a stark reminder of how much he had invested in his relationships with his brothers, only to be met with indifference.
Flashback 1: The Forgotten Promise
Taehyung was 15, and Jungkook had a big soccer match. Jungkook was nervous, and Taehyung spent hours helping him practice, offering words of encouragement and support. On the day of the match, Taehyung promised to be there, cheering him on from the sidelines.
However, when the day came, Taehyung had a high fever. Despite feeling weak, he dragged himself to the field, determined to keep his promise. He cheered for Jungkook, his voice hoarse and body aching. Jungkook's team won, and Taehyung was overjoyed for his brother. But when Jungkook saw him, he barely acknowledged Taehyung's presence. Instead, he ran to his friends, celebrating with them, leaving Taehyung standing alone, feeling invisible.
Flashback ends
The memory of that day brought a fresh wave of pain. Taehyung felt the sting of being overlooked, his efforts and sacrifices going unnoticed. The joy he had felt for Jungkook's victory was overshadowed by the deep sense of loneliness and invisibility. He had given his all, only to be left standing alone, feeling like he didn't matter.
Flashback 2: The Birthday Surprise
Taehyung had always been thoughtful when it came to his brothers' birthdays. He would plan surprises, bake cakes, and make sure they felt special. One year, he decided to throw a surprise party for Jimin. He spent weeks planning, making sure everything was perfect. On the day of the party, Jimin was thrilled and thanked everyone, but he didn't seem to notice the effort Taehyung had put in. Later, Taehyung overheard Jimin telling Yoongi that he thought the party was organized by Jin and Namjoon. Taehyung's heart sank, realizing his efforts went unnoticed.
