Prince Leone's P.O.V
I had worn a huge smile on my face when Jeremy found his mate.Her name was Ameris, and she was the alpha's daughter. She appeared to look much like her father; with her big blue eyes and dark hair. Although, she did have her mother's smile.
When they first met they had stared at each other for a while, then ran to one another and locked into a tight embrace. In a sense I was happy, but as the night progresssed I became frustrated.
By the end of the 24 hour mate search, I had yet to find my mate. I released one long painful howl before Jeremy,Ameris, and I headed back to the Crownlands. That's what we called the area surrounding the castle. It was an old, medieval looking castle. Built by my ancestors hundreds of years ago.
Although I was saddened,it didn't bug me. I knew she was out there. I felt it; she was so close. Maybe she ran. Maybe she wanted me to chase her. Oh no, what if she thinks I abandoned her? What am I going to tell my parents?
13 hours later
As soon as we entered Crownland territory I felt the link open up and become very clear.
" Mom,dad...you there?" I inquired.
"Yes son," They replied in unison.
"Cool, the calvary has arrived." I said in a joking tone. Although there was nothing funny about the situation.
We arrived upon the big protective wall that surrounded the castle, stated our names, and were immediately granted entrance.
We were met by my parents immediately upon entrance of the castle. I could tell by the gleam in my mother's eyes that she wanted to have a long discussion, but I on the other hand just wanted to take a nap. Maybe I'd dream about my mate. Perhaps she'd dream about me as well....
My mother looked at Ameris with great interest. I was saddened that I'd have to burst her bubble, but not even I had an answer to what had gone wrong.
"Leone, son is this your mate? Why she's so beautiful, such stunning eyes," my mother began.
"Why, thank you ma'am!" Ameris exclaimed, cutting her off. "But sadly you are mistaken. I'm Jeremy's mate."
"Jeremy?" My father questioned before it dawned on him."Ah yes, the new Beta Prince. I'm very pleased to meet both of you. Now, Lee my boy where's your mate?"he questioned.
I gulped hard before speaking."Well father...you see I-I didn't find my mate,"I managed to get that sentence out and I was proud.
"Son-"
"Mother, I know. Can you please just, let me show Jeremy and Ameris to their respective living quarters?"
"Fine," she huffed out.
"Son, please meet us in my office when you're done. We have things to discuss." On that note, the conversation was over. The alpha king had spoken, and there was no room for argument.

Kitrina's P.O.V
I was feeling down. Something had changed within that 24 hour period. I felt all whacky on the inside, which is strange for me. Normally I'm the solid rock that people can come to. Heck I was practically a school wide psychologist in high school.
Yet, here I was. I had no rank, no mate, and no one to talk to. Everyone felt as though I needed some space since I blew up the other day. Even my father,which didn't make sense seeing as he was the cause of half my problems.
I decided to throw myself into work to get my mind off of things. I taught my brother how to fill out the pack paperwork. I even cleaned up a little around the pack house. Obviously nobody had taken the time to do that in a while. I mean seriously what had those she wolves been doing. They had one job. To cook and clean.
Don't get me wrong, Mega Lima isn't old fashioned. Some women just prefer that their mates handle the income. The men don't complain though, and at least half the women have jobs.
Anyways, where was I? Oh yes, I was cleaning...when Trent-I mean Alpha Trent burst into the entertainment area. Some of the women and children were just lounging around before making dinner.
"The royals are coming! " he screamed." The damn royals are on their way as we speak." People began running around the place like chickens with their heads cut off.
Children were shooed off to take baths, whilst their mothers fought over which dish was best for the occasion.
I on the other hand went to comfort Trent; who was hyperventilating. This was the first royal visit since he'd become alpha,and he was stressed. Once that was over I closed myself in my room awaiting dinner time.

Prince Leone's P.O.V
We all sat in a heavily guarded jeep, making our way to the Mega Lima territory. I had somehow managed to get the heated conversation off of my situation and onto Lima's advanced security system. With some help from Jeremy of course.
We told my father of how it took me forever to figure out the location of their surveillance. He was impressed. That's why we were on our way over. That and Ameris has some loose ends to tie up with her old pack.
As we got closer to the territory I had began to feel slightly different. More energetic and upbeat than I'd been since the Running of the Mates. Could this be it? Could I be getting closer to my mate?
