It had been about a week since Ariana and Jai split and since Jai and I kissed. I hadn't really talked to him partly because I was busy and partly because I felt awkward about our kiss. Although I had been waiting nearly forever for Jai to finally kiss me for real, I was still in a state of shock that it actually happened.

I had decided that after a few days of an unsteady mind state (from the kiss obviously), I would meet a few of the girls at Starbucks for a little chat over over-priced but oh-so-good beverages. I walked into the coffee shop, fixing my dress once I stepped in the door. I walked up to the counter immediately because there was no line which was really weird. Once my drink was made, I grabbed it and walked over to a table where the girls and I always sat.

I waited for a couple minutes before I saw Jen, Manda, and Kat walking past the window. They all entered the shop and put their bags down before going and getting coffee. The three of them walked back over to the table and I laughed at Kat's shirt because it described her so well.

"Sorry we're late. Kat tried on a million outfits and almost settled on one before she realized that some of the fans are younger and promoting vulgarity where there might be 13 year olds is probably not the best idea," Manda explained.

"If it were me, I would have just worn it. I mean yeah it might be all over the media and maybe the fans will want whatever shirt it might be, but if you want to wear it then do it," Jen said.

We continued rambling on about vulgar t-shirts that Jen and Kat owned and all eventually finished our drinks. We decided to walk around and shop for a while which might not be a good idea for our credit cards but it'll probably be worth it at the end of the day.

We walked around for a while and bought a bunch of stuff before we saw the boys shopping as well. Kat immediately ran over to James, but Jen and Manda didn't even notice the boys because they were too busy window shopping. Jai and I made eye contact, but neither of us said or did anything else.

"Hey Kat, how come you were so worried about promoting vulgarity earlier but now it doesn't matter?" Jen shouted at Kat who had her legs around James's hips while the two were making out. I stifled my laughter as Kat stuck out her middle finger at Jen while still making out with James.

We all decided, once Kat and James were done with their excessive PDA, that we were going to get lunch. The only problem was that we couldn't decide where we wanted to go, so we ended up going wherever. Unfortunately for me, who wanted Panera, so did Jai.

We walked to Panera silently, standing about 2 feet away from each other the entire time. I noticed out of the corner of my eye that he kept looking at me. I tried to keep calm, but it didn't work and by the time we got to Panera, I checked my makeup 12 times to make sure it wasn't messed up.

We walked into Panera and went and stood in line while we were figuring out what we wanted. I was looking at the menu intently when I felt arms wrap around my waist and a chin press on my shoulder. As I was about to say something, Jai spoke.

"I've missed you so much."

He kissed my neck once and I turned around in his arms. I gave him the biggest hug I possibly could, ignoring all of the fangirls that were taking pictures and recording this.

"Let's get out of here," he whispered.

We walked out of the Panera Bread and across Melbourne Central to his car. We both got in and as he started to drive, he grabbed my hand and didn't let go until we got back to his house.

We walked inside and up the stairs to the bedroom that he shared with Luke. He locked the door as I laid down on his bed and kicked my shoes off. Jai laid down right next to me and wrapped his arms around my torso.

We eventually fell asleep, waking up to Jai's phone going off. He reached over to his phone and answered it, still barely awake. As he attempted to have a conversation, I got up and walked over to where I dropped my bag, taking off my necklace and putting it in the front pocket. As I reached in the pocket to put my necklace in there and I felt an envelope. I looked back at the bed and saw Jai already back asleep. I thought about opening the envelope right then, but I didn't know what was in it so I decided to crawl back in bed with Jai and cuddle some more.

After about another 2 hours of sleeping, my phone was going off like crazy but I didn't understand why since I had learned to turn off twitter notifications. I rolled over and grabbed my phone off the floor where I had put it. I unlocked my phone to see my texts blowing up. My group chat with Kat, Jen, and Manda was going crazy, each of the boys was texting me a bunch, and there were even texts from Ariana.

The girls were freaking out because they saw tweets from fans of Jai and I in Panera and then walking to the car. The boys were texting me so much, asking where Jai was because they couldn't get a hold of him. And then there was Ariana, or as her contact name in my phone was Ewriana. I opened the message chain to see probably close to 20 messages from her that were sent all within 2 minutes of each other. She was begging me to talk to Jai for her and to help her get him back. My favorite text from her said "Please, Jordane, I know you're a nice person and if you helped me then maybe we can be friends." I read that message and laughed really hard before responding.
Jordane: Lmao I don't like you so I'm not going to help you get Jai back. Plus it would be kind of hard for you to get him back when he's been thinking about me since you guys broke up.

I felt really satisfied with my response, so I turned my phone off and went downstairs to the kitchen. I didn't expect to see Gina making macaroni and cheese, but I walked in anyway. I walked over to the fridge and got a bottle of water out before leaning up against the counter next to Gina.

"Hi Jor, didn't know you were over," Gina said, looking up from her mac and cheese.

"Yeah Jai and I came home a few hours ago."

"So you and Jai are alright then, yeah?"

"I think so," I replied, smiling.

I walked upstairs to see Jai still sleeping and decided I should probably think about heading to Kat's house. I know the girls were extremely eager to know what happened.

I grabbed a notepad off of his desk and wrote him a note saying I'd be back tomorrow. I placed it on the pillow next to his and grabbed my bag. I looked at Jai sleeping one last time before I left and went to Kat's house.
