I woke up the next day at Kat's house in a pair of Captain America lounge pants and a tshirt that I stole from Jai. Jen was reading something on her laptop (probably fanfic about Daniel), Kat was still sleeping, and Manda was cooking us breakfast.
I walked into the kitchen and sat down at the breakfast bar and watched Manda make bacon, eggs, and hash browns almost effortlessly. She was always a really great cook and it was a treat when she'd cook food.
After our delicious breakfast, I had gotten dressed and was doing my hair to get ready to go see Jai. When I finished with my hair and makeup, I walked downstairs to put on my boots and grab my bag.
"Alright girls I'll see you later, I'm going to see Jai for a little while," I said before walking out the door.
I arrived at Jai's house barely 15 minutes later and walked in the front door to see Daniel and Beau chasing eachother around the house. Luke was filming the whole thing on his phone while James was just sitting on the floor. Jai had texted me and told me he was in his room so I carefully navigated around the boys and went to Jai's room.
Jai was running around his room and I wasn't sure if he was trying to clean up or if he was looking for something. I tried not to stare at him because he was only in boxers and that's always a nice thing to see.
I put my bag on his bed and as soon as I did he looked at me and smiled before walking over. He wrapped his arms around me and hugged me tight before kissing my forehead.
"What were you looking for a minute ago?"
"An envelope with something important in it. I had it yesterday but I don't remember where I put it."
I reached into the front pocket of my bag and pulled out the envelope I discovered there yesterday.
"Is this it?" I asked as I handed it to him.
He looked inside and then looked back up to me.
"Yeah that's it," he laughed nervously. "You didn't open it, did you?"
I shook my head no. He grabbed my hand and pulled me to him again, leaving a very small amount of space between us before leaning forward a little. Just as he was about to kiss me the door flew open.
"Jai get ready to film, we've been waiting- oh hi Jor," Luke said.
"Alright I'll be there in a few, I'm kind of busy here," Jai replied.
Luke laughed before walking out of the room.
"Well that killed the mood," Jai said.
I watched Jai pick out clothes and then get dressed which helped me to stop staring as much. We held hands and walked downstairs into the living room where the boys were waiting.
"And here come the lovebirds," Beau said, pointing his phone at us.
Jai stuck his middle finger up at Beau and walked towards the door. I tried to cover my face because I didn't need the Fandom drama after they all see me on Keek holding hands with Jai.

Later that day, after the boys finally finished filming (it took nearly 3 hours), the girls showed up to the house too. The girls and I went to the kitchen so Manda, Kat, and I could make food while Jen watched Friends on her laptop at the table.
The boys came into the kitchen too and sat at the island with their laptop as they did a twitcam. After a while they turned the laptop around because Jai and Beau wanted to cook with us. Daniel, James, and Luke sat with Jen at the table watching Friends.
I was at the stove, stirring mac and cheese when Jai came up behind me and wrapped his arms around me. He kissed my neck a few times before I turned around to face him.
"Alright Jai, keep it PG over there," Beau said, meaning we were in the view of the camera.
"Jai everyone's asking who your girl is," Jen mentioned.
Jai laughed, pulling me out of the kitchen and to his room. He grabbed the envelope off of the bed where he had put it and gave it to me.
"This is a present for you. It's kind of a thank you for being there for me when the whole Ariana thing happened and for helping me feel better about it."
I opened the envelope, seeing 2 tickets and 2 VIP passes to a Halsey show. My jaw dropped and I put the envelope on the bed. I pulled Jai to me and kissed him. When we finally pulled away from eachother, he smiled.
"So I'm assuming you like it, then."
"I love it," I paused. "Thank you so much, Jai."
I kissed him again quickly.
"Jor I was kinda hoping that you'd consider..." he trailed off. "Be my girlfriend?"
"Of course I will, Jai."
That was the start of us, the start of the best relationship I could've ever imagined.
