Kacee's POV

Friday - 6:28 pm

"Kat !!! Hurry up!! You're going to be late for homecoming !!" I say once again. She's in the bathroom doing her makeup, and I still have to curl her hair.

"Hold on!! I'm peeing!!"

We are currently at my house since Kat doesn't want to be at hers. Speaking of Kat, she has been very close to Mace and I. Maybe because we don't like her step-sister, Lexie, as well. She's the reason why Kat is over here. Besides Lexie would probably have her friends over as well.

Kat got out of the bathroom and sat on the bed. I quickly, but neatly, curled her hair and helped her put her dress on.

"So? How do I look??" She asks while spinning around.

"Beautiful, as always." I turned around and saw Macee and Jacob , Kat's boyfriend, standing by the door.

"Aww. Thanks Babe!" She went up to him and kissed him on the lip. They are such a cute couple. (: Hopefully that will be me in a couple of years.

We took pictures of them downstairs before they left.

"Have fun guys!" the twins said together.

Both of them went back inside and went straight to the kitchen. Kacee was looking for food while Macee was looking through a magazine on the counter. Their mom is out of town for a friend's event and won't be back until Sunday.

"Hey do you want to watch Insurgent?" I asked Mace who looked like she already went through the magazine a few times now.

"Um maybe another time. We watched that just last night."

"Oh.. Okay.. Well I'll head to my room now. See you tomorrow. Good night.."

"Night." //:

That's strange. She will always watch Insurgent or even Divergent no matter how much she has watched it already. we're both a fan of Theo James 😍. She's been acting weird lately as well. She's becoming more independent as well.

I'm just on my laptop watching baking videos when I hear a knock on the door.

"Kace?"

"Come in."

"Um can I tell you something..?"

"Of course. What is it?"

"Well something happened today.. and.. and I don't know what's going to happen anymore.."

"Omg Mace! What did you do?? Don't tell me you are pregnant?!! I'm not ready to be an aunt yet!!"

"Kacee calm down !! I'm not pregnant!! What the heck!"

"I'm sorry continue.. ^-^"

"Okay I don't know how to say this but um Lexie and I had a quick talk today.."

Oh no..

" And?"

"She wants me to be in her group... and I said ye--"

"YOU SAID WHAT NOW?!"

A tear suddenly fell down her face. I stood up because I couldn't handle what I was hearing.
