Chapter 11 ~ When Everything Changes

These past couple of days have been nothing but shit. Ricky won't even look at me and I've been really depressed. "Babe..." I whispered. "What" he said coldly "lets do something?" I asked "fuck off Sage" he said and it made me upset... "okay Ricky..." I reply as I walked away into my room. I sat on the bed and started to cry. I pulled up my knees and started to hug them. I hate my life.

I all of a sudden had an idea. I walked into the bathroom and locked the door. I pulled out one of my razors and sat on the floor. "I'm sorry" I whispered as I cried. I held the blade against my wrist and pulled it hard from one side to the the other. The pain was horrible but it also felt great. I set the razor on a spot where I didn't have a tattoo and repeated. I was crying my eyes out and doing the thing I promised I wouldn't do since high school. Then someone knocked on the door. "Sage what are you doing" it was Ricky.

"Nothing babe" I say as I got up. I put away the blade and wiped the tears away and washed away the blood "babe can you come out?" He asked "yea I'll be right out" I say as I took another glance at myself. I turned around and opened the door. When I opened it Ricky was wait right out side. "Ricky... did you want something?" I asked sweetly "yea. I thought about what I said earlier and I just wanted to say sorry. I'm also sorry I haven't been talking to you lately." He said with a smile and pulled me into a hug. "God I miss doing this" he said and I giggle. We stopped hugging and he just stood there staring into my eyes and he was holding both my hands. "Gosh I fucking love you" he said and I smiled.

Then all of a sudden there was a drip noise and I looked down to see a tiny little splat of blood. "Sage... what is that?" He said and I backed away. "Sage. Come here" he said coldly but I just kept backing up. Then he looked up and walked up to me and grabbed my hand roughly and stared at the fresh cuts. He looked up at me and just stared. Then all of a sudden my face started to sting and I noticed Ricky... Ricky... Ricky slapped me.

I looked at him in disbelief. Then the tears came again. I ran out of the room and ran until he pulled me. "Let me go." I say through sobs "babe I'm sorry I didn't mean for it to happen. I just wanted to tell you I'm leaving today for tour" he stated while pulling my chin up so I faced him. "Alright" I said softly and he smiled. "I already packed and the guys will be here any minute" he said. I fake smiled and gave him a kiss.

A few minutes later the guys came. I was so thankful. "Bye babe I love you." Ricky said "love you too" I lied. "Hey Sage" Balz said. "Hey Balz" I replied. "You look upset. Did something happen?" He asked with concern. "Of course not" I say with a smile. "Okay. Well bye. See you when tour ends." He said and I smiled and waved.

I watched as they left and when they did I walked back inside and a little tear came down my checks. It hurt so badly. 'Common Sage. He's gone.' I said to my self as I forced myself to smile.

I was sitting on the coach watching "Awkward." When I got a phone call. It was Ashley. "Hello?" I answered "YOU NEED TO COME TO THE HOSPITAL" she shouted "what? Why? What happened" I questioned as I panicked "Hayley's here!! Hurry!" She yelled before hanging up and I immediately got up and headed for my car.

I tried to get there as fast as I can without getting arrested. When I parked my car I locked it and ran inside. I ran in and stopped to take a breathe. Then I started to run again until I came to the waiting room. I went to the nurse and asked which room Hayley is in. And of course the room is 666.

I got up there and ran in. Hayley is on the bed and next to her is Ashley and Juliet. "Hey. What happened?" I asked and Ashley turned to me. You could tell she was crying. "She tried to kill herself again" she said and I couldn't believe it. I walked over to her "Hayley. You okay?" I asked but she just stared straight at the wall "she hasn't been talking at all" Juliet said and I gave her a sympathetic look. "And she's now on suicide watch for who knows how long" Ashley continued "what the fuck" I shouted
