Since fluff was the most popular option, I shall give the people what they want :D

I hope this makes up for all the angst I've put you through :)

The leaves are a pretty shade of sunset orange, scarlet, and dandelion yellow, and they swirl through the air languidly as the autumn breeze sweeps through the sky.

A small figure is bundled up on an oak bench sitting just below a tree of the same wood, his breaths coming in puffs, the warm exhale contrasting with the cool air.

The boy is waiting for someone, someone really special to him. Someone whose friendship with him is about to change, for better or for worse.

Jimin's knee bounces restlessly, the heel of his shoe making a clacking sound against the concrete of the sidewalk.

God, of all times to be late, Min Yoongi.

When he told the elder to meet him under the oak tree today, when he said 3:00 (right after school) he fucking meant 3:00, not 3:24 pm. He shoots the elder yet another text.

Me:  Hyung, where the hell are you??

Yoongi-Hyung: I'm sorry!! Made a pit stop.

Jimin rolls his eyes, muttering under his breath, but his head lifts as he hears rapid footsteps approaching from his left.

"Jimin-ah!"

Jimin's mood instantly lifts as his best friend rushes to him, a plastic bag hanging from his hand and swaying with his steps.

"Fucking finally, damn." Jimin matches Yoongi's wide smile, quickly snatching the bag in his hyung's hand.

"Got you some snacks," Yoongi rubs the back of his head, a shy smile playing on his lips. Jimin reaches into the bag and pulls out his favorite ramen, the spicy Samyang noodles with chicken that he adores so much.

"You're the best, hyung." Jimin bites his lip to hold back a smile, and fails to see how a blush spreads across Yoongi's pale cheeks.

"Y-yeah, well you know me..." he murmurs.

"Ever so thoughtful." Jimin finishes his sentence, sitting back down and raising his gaze to the elder's. This time, he does notice (with glee) the way his hyung's cheeks flame pink at the subtle flirtation.

Yes, Jimin has told Yoongi to meet him here after school so he can confess his feelings.

Jimin has liked his childhood best friend for years now, ever since they were freshmen in high school when Yoongi stood up to a bully for him. He remembers vividly the way Yoongi's fist collided with the senior's jaw, a deafening crack echoing throughout the hallway as he broke bone.

"You okay, Jiminie?" Yoongi asks worriedly, pulling Jimin to his feet and peering at the purple bruise blossoming on the younger's cheek.

"Y-yeah, I'm okay." Jimin stares at his best friend since childhood, having never seen that side to Yoongi before, and honestly, it makes his stomach churn in a pleasant way.

"That asshole should've never laid a damn finger on you, and if he ever does again," Yoongi turns to look behind him at the group huddled around their leader on the ground, who was cradling his broken jaw, crying, and looking at Yoongi in disbelief, "I'll do worse than break a bone."

With that, Yoongi grabs Jimin by the wrist, shooting the bully one last deadly glare before tugging his best friend behind him and striding off.
