Today is the day

The day I go to...

GOOGLE

The day that might get me into my life long career.

I get up very quick due to excitement. I ran to my bathroom and start to brush my hair. It was very soft because I took a shower the night before. When I was done brushing it I lightly teased it. I pulled it to the side of my head. braiding it. My hair is long and blonde so this hair style took a while. After I was done with my hair. I got my mascara and eyeliner out. I opened the eyeliner and went very close to the mirror. I looked at my bright blue eyes. I then applied my eyeliner just on the bottom I don't like doing my top its a bit weird for me. I applied mascara. Then I brushed my teeth. Then once I was done with all that kind of stuff I Ran to my closet. I pulled on a white crop top and high waisted shorts. Then i grabbed my favorite black sweater and some socks and ran to sit on my bed I put on the socks on and then my white high tops. I looked at my phone and it read 8:12. I still had about 3 hours to pack my stuff and leave. I started to pack last night so there is not that much left.

~~~~After packing~~~~
I look over at the clock while taping the last box shut.
11:23
If I don't leave in a couple minutes I'm going to be late. So I call the people to come pick my stuff up from my dorm. I then grab my bag which has my white board, marker, computer , phone , headphones, chargers, and a note book and pen. I make sure i have everything and look in the mirror.
ugly like always
I run out the door and find a elevator. I quickly push number one. I wait till its at the 1st floor and run out of the Stanford building. I hail a cab. It pull's over. I pay him a head of time.
After what felt like forever I got out of the cab. I turned around to see a big building. In the front it says google. I smile to my self. I begin walking to sign in. I don't know where to go to do that. I walk inside the building with a lot of shock. It is like a huge park. I Kept looking around. I noticed a sign that says sign in here. I start walking towards it. I here a ding meaning i got a text.
From mom:
Hey sweetheart, good luck on you first day. I hope you have a great day. Love you. xoxox
To mom:
Hey mom. thanks for the good luck. and I hope you have a great day too lots of-
Before i could finish the text i was bumped into really hard. I quickly grabbed my board and marker and wrote down " I'm so sorry"
I looked up to this guy he had bushy eyebrows. He read my board.Then he spoke. With a very fake accent.
"watch it next time mute"
Mute
That one word always got to me. The last time I have been called that is the day I graduated. That was 4 years ago.
I picked up my stuff and put my favorite black sweater on. I really hope that wont become a thing. Me being called mute. I really hated it happened for like for 8 or 9 years. I got my phone and finished the text I was gonna send my mom. I didn't bother telling her of what happened. She would get all mad. I was just kinda used to it. I finally got to the counter and a nice looking lady said
