The ride was bumpy. Every second the car would bounce making everything inside it jump. Including me. Harley was next to me, driving the old car that I wished was crushed years ago. I was bored out of my mind and it was all Harley's fault. If it wasn't for him I wouldn't be here right now.

"You know, the king's birthday isn't actually tomorrow. It's the day after," Harley said quietly. My eyes widened in shock and in seconds my head was turned to face him with an angry glare. My nose flared and my mind roared with furious thoughts. How could he do this to me?

"What!" I hissed. Venom was dripping out of my voice sending a shiver down Harley's spine. His hazel eyes turned to a lime green colour showing his fear. My teeth were starting to ache and I could feel my eyes starting to change colour as well.

"The king wanted to see you before his party. He wants to... how did he put it, 'chat'," he said tightening his grip on the steering wheel. My breathing came out faster and I couldn't help the hiss that left my mouth. I have never felt so betrayed in my life. Actually, I have, and it was by the very person that I am about to see.

"He is no king of mine. He is nothing but an old baboon that needs plenty of help. He does not deserve my respect," I spat out. With my eyes glowing a bright red I spun to look out of the window. My anger was clouding my thoughts and when there was a big bump I let out a furious hiss. Why would Harley do this to me? I thought he was my friend.

"You haven't seen him in over 2 thousand years. Maybe he's changed," Harley said sending me a side ways glance. I couldn't but help roll my eyes. I let out a scoff and kept my eyes on the trees passing by. As if such a cruel, cold hearted beast could have changed.

I sat there glaring out of the window for another two hours. The time was not very long for me as I have been living a life way longer than that. The bumps did annoy me though. Each bounce the car did would make me bounce in my seat and almost hit my head on the roof. What is wrong with this car?

"We're here Dany," Harley said opening his door. Looking up I saw the huge castle that stood in front of the car. I left out a huff and sunk further into my seat. I didn't want to get out of this car now. The thoughts of me wanting to escape the tiny car before are long gone. Now all I want it to stay in the pitiful thing and hope that he never finds me. "Oh come on. It's not that bad."

With a frown I opened my door and stepped out of the car. Harley threw me my duffle bag and off he walked towards the palace. I just wanted to run. Who in their right mind would walk right into their enemy's home. I need some kind of weapon, just to make me feel good.

"Welcome," a loud happy voice boomed. My heart nearly skipped a beat when I heard it. With my body stiffening and my glare getting colder I looked up to see him. The royal pain in the arse, and by royal I mean royal. He stood there with his hands clasped together. A huge smile sat on his face with a dimple on his left cheek. His brown eyes sparkled with happiness when they saw me. Oh poop. "Daniela, what a pleasant surprise."

I just kept my cold glare on my face and walked into the castle through the huge wooden doors. I wish I could have said his place looked like a dump but I just can't call something so beautiful a dump. It was like any palace you could ever think of but better. I noticed Harley's surprised expression on his face as well and I found myself having a small smile on my lips. Oh no!

"It's nice to see you again old friend," He said placing a hand on my shoulder. A hiss left my mouth and I quickly pulled myself away from the old man as if he was poison. Which to me, he was. "Oh come on. You're not sill mad about that are you?" He said it as if it was nothing. As if there was no care in the world. Oh boy was he wrong.
