You were sitting in a motel room and watching the TV when the room's phone rang.
"Hello?" you asked, answering the call.
"Hi, Mr. Y/N, was it?" a person said over the phone. "I got your pizza."
"I'm coming."
You went to the door and opened it to see Medusa in front holding a pizza box and a phone.
Medusa: "Didn't think finding you would be this easy?"
"Ms. Medusa. What brings you here? And what happened to the guy who was supposed to deliver the pizza?"
Medusa: "Oh, I convinced him that he had better things to do at the end of his shift, so I paid him and said he could do something else."
"So, is there a reason you came here?"
Medusa: "Yes. Mind sharing your pizza?"
"Why not?"
She went into the room and the two of you ate the pizza.
"So what did you want to see me about?"
Medusa: "So, I did some of my research on you. All I can say is that ordinary food can only sate you for so long. You need something more "organic" for your body."
"How did you find out about that?" you asked, suspiciously.
Medusa: "A pen pal of mine was freaking out about some project and vented everything at me. Talking about how he took part in creating a "devil" that escaped into the world. Like that's something Humanity should worry about."
"What else should they worry about?"
Medusa: "I'm sure you've heard rumors of monsters appearing at night and attacking random people. I need to get something from this strange building complex. It was repurposed into some kind of science outpost, but it got overrun by these creatures, so I need help dealing with them and getting what I need. I'll be able to pay ya again."
"I do need money," you groaned. "Alright, when do we begin?"
Medusa: "Right now. Let's go."
"Of course", you said as you got up and followed her.
