The earrings glowed brightly, and Turbo yelped, dropping them in surprise. A pink little light flew out and immediately rushed up to his face. It dimmed to reveal a pink flying creature

Turbo fell backward in shock. "Hi. My name is Tikki, I'm the kwamii of creation, and I need your help!"

Turbo blinked. He shook his head to make sure he wasn't seeing things. "Wh-what!?!"

Tikki flew closer. "Listen, I know you are in shock right now, but we have an emergency!"

Turbo deadpanned. He stood up and dusted the chocolate dirt off of him. "Okay, so go deal with it."

Tikki shook her head and followed him as he walked off. "No, you don't understand! I need a holder!"

"So go find one!" Turbo retorted as he walked over to his sleeping area and started to rearrange a few things.

"I did!" She exclaimed abruptly, leading to an eyebrow raise from the racer. "Er, I'm trying to!"

"Well, what's stopping you?"

Tikki groaned. "Listen! I need you to take the ladybug miraculous and go out into Game Central Station! I fear there has been an Akuma!"

"An akuma?"

Tikki nodded. "A dark purple butterfly fly used by the butterfly miraculous to turn people into supervillains!"

Turbo burst into laughter. "S-supervillains!? R-really!?"

"Yes! And I need your help!" The kwami groaned.

Turbo shook his head. This little bug didn't know what she was asking. "I'm sorry," he chuckled. "But I believe you are asking for a superhero." He turned his back to her. "I am not a superhero. Why don't you go find the heroes from that new game? What are their names again?" Turbo thought for a moment. "Cat Lady and Bug Noir?"

"Ladybug and Chat Noir," Tikki deadpanned. "And our game has been unplugged because someone stole the butterfly miraculous!"

Turbo scoffed and shook his head. He sat on the sponge cake mattress. "I'm sorry. I don't get out much. People think I'm dead!" He growled.

"Please, Turbo!? Just this one time!?!" Tikki held the earrings and flew up to him. "Trust me, you aren't exactly my first choice either."

"One problem. This thing," the racer tapped his helmet, "can't come off. Meaning I don't have ears."

"We can work around that!"

"I tried to kill a little girl! Twice!"

That shut Tikki up. Turbo smirked. Maybe that stupid insect would leave him alone now.

Turbo took the opportunity and grabbed his cloak, and threw his hood up. He walked out of the volcano, no set destination.

Yet he didn't realize the kwamii had followed him as she suddenly appeared right in his face. "Please!?!"

"Gah!" Turbo exclaimed before walking around her. "Please! Just leave me alone!"

"I need you!"

The racer walked a bit faster. "You said it yourself,  I'm not your first choice. So leave me alone!"

"I have no other choice!" Tikki protested. "The majority of the Gameless are non-human!"

"So find a human-like character!"

"They need to be Gameless!"

"Just leave me alone!" Turbo spat. He jumped over a gumdrop and started running. 'I need to get away from this stupid insect!' He thought.

That bug said it herself. He wasn't her first choice. So why was she still following him!?

-------------------------------------------------------------

'He's a lot more hum- no. Not humble. Far from it. Less. Yeah, less boastful than I imagined,' Tikki hummed. 'There is something off about him. I can feel it. It's almost as if he feels guilty about what he's done.'

Tikki continued to follow him. He still wasn't her first choice, though, but maybe the miraculous was safer in his hands than she originally thought.

-------------------------------------------------------------

Turbo hid behind a candy cane tree. He panted as he lowered his hood. He checked to see if the bug still followed him. She wasn't there. Good. He lost her. He slid up against the bark of the tree and took a moment to catch his breath.

Superhero? He scoffed. As if. He wasn't a hero. Far from it. Even he himself nearly considered him a villain for his actions.

He would never admit it - to himself or otherwise. But deep down, there was a part of him that regretted everything. The Road Blasters incident, the Sugar Rush incident, not being there for Camilla, everything.

But he was considered dead now. How in the world was he supposed to make things right?

"I can help with that."

Turbo jumped in surprise. That bug had found him. "Geaaze!"

Tikki giggled. "Sorry."

"What? Were you spying on me!?!" He spat, standing up.

"I can feel your emotions. I was programmed to."

Turbo's eyes went wide. Then he growled. He shook his head and turned around. "I told you to leave me alone!"

"Please," Tikki pleaded once more. "The arcade is in danger."

Turbo growled but thought about her words. "Agh, fine! I'll play your little game!" He snatched the earrings from Tikki. "But just this once!"

Tikki smiled and nodded. "All you have to do is say 'Tikki, Spots on!'"

Turbo lifted the earrings to where his ears would be, not really sure what would happen due to his lack of ears. He couldn't believe he was trusting the little insect anyway. "Tikki, spots on!"

-------------------------------------------------------------

"Waaaahh!" A red blur flew through the sugary sky. He was glitching like crazy. Turbo was trying to get his new wings under control.

The racers on The Royal Raceway were being controlled by the players, but that didn't stop them from seeing the red figure.

Turbo crash landed into a candy cane tree and was tangled up in its branches. His yoyo fell on his head."Oooh. . . " He groaned dizzely.

Once he came too, the pain was almost unbearable. After transforming,  it seemed as if his code merged with the miraculous's, and it took a bit to get used to. His glitching slowed until it became nonexistent.

He untangled his yoyo and put it around his waist. "Ugh. . . " He pushed his hair out his eyes and finally took the opportunity to examine himself. "Oh boy. . . I'm a bug again. . ." He groaned.

Turbo climbed the tree again and watched the race from where he was. Then he looked at the entrance of the game. A blue and green light kept flashing from it. He concentrated and, this time, was able to use his wings without much loss of control.

He flew over to the Rainbow Road and into the entrance. Where was that light coming from? He walked into Game Central Station. There was nothing there.

He walked a little deeper, looking around, trying to find the sorce of the light. Maybe he was seeing things?

Little did he know, behind him, a glowing, pulsing, figure stepped up from behind him. He swung his baton and growled.

The Ladybug replacement felt he was being watched. As soon as he turned around, the akuma lunged at him.
