Ever since Erik and Curtis met, Curtis has always played jokes on Erik.
Erik sat quietly on his couch reading a magzaine, humming softly to himself.
"Eriiik." The voice made Erik's head perk up quickly, he brushed it off, Curtis was at the store, so who could it be?
"EriiiK!" Came the voice again, frightened a bit, Erik put down his magazine and picked up his broom. He faced his dark hallway, too scared to turn on the light.
"W-who's there?" Erik stuttered out gripping his broom tightly. He backed up slowly still looking into the dark hallway, he bumped into something. Someone, and screamed jumping a foot in the air after eyeing the hideous face. He grabbed his broom again and swatted it in front of him frantically.
"GetAway!,GetAway!,GetAway!" The next thing he heard was non-stop laughter. He opened his eyes, that were squeezed shut, only to be greeted by a Curtis gasping for air on the floor, the hideous mask in his hand.
Curtis knew that any little thing would make Erik scared. Erik didn't understand why Curtis pinned him with everything.
"Dude, don't go out there!" Curtis shouted, almost completely out of breath, slamming the door behind him. He locked all the locks and huddled up on the couch. "Man they're after me."
"Who's after you?" Erik asked obviously confused. The nervousness building up every second.
"The police, man." Curtis' voice cracked as if he was going to cry. "Oh man, Erik, I killed him. The poor guy, I shot him!" Curtis dropped his head into his open palms. Which were covered in a red liquid. Erik processed it a s blood.
"Man they think you're in on it!" In a quick mode of panic Erik started screaming and pulling his hair.
"Why me, I didn't do noth-" He was cut off by large knocks on the door.
"This is police, open up!" Curtis ran into the back of the apartment, leaving Erik in the living room. "You better open up!"
Erik ran up to the door quickly unlocking and opening it.
"Officer I had nothing to do with it, I swear....Kevin?" Once he said Kevin's name, Kevin burst into a fit of laughter.
"You should of seen your face!" Curtis said walking into the room, clutching his stomach. "It was priceless!"
Erik finally decided, it was time to get back at Curtis, and he came up with the most best idea known to man. Well to him atleast.
"Dude, Kevin, I have the best prank to do on Curtis!" Erik squealed happily. "It will scare 9 years off his life!" Erik spent the last couple of days explaining his plan and getting everything and everyone he needed for it. He picked the perfect night for it to work. The night his parents came for a visit.
"Hey mom, hey dad!" Curtis greeted his parents as they walked into the apartment. "You know Erik already." Erik hugged them each and led them to the kitchen. After about 35 minutes of eating their dinner, the plan had to be kicked into motion.
"Excuse me I have to use the restroom." Erik said politely getting up and leaving the kitchen. When he was out of sight he signaled Kevin to come into the apartment and hid in the bathroom. When he heard someone walk into the other dark room, he quickly assumed Kevin.
"Alright Kevin remember the plan and now." Erik let out a high pitched scream as if he was being attacked. He could hear a worried Curtis and fake worriedness from Curtis' parents.
"Erik, Erik? Are you alright?" Soon he heard Curtis gasp really loud. "Oh my god, who are you? Get out!"
"Oh my god honey, that's not Kevin!" He heard Curtis' mom scream, "Let's get out of here!" He could hear them leave the apartment.
"Get away! No! No!" He heard Curtis scream which was cut short by a gasp, then more gasps for air. Ater a couple seconds he heard a loud thump. Curtis's body hit the floor. Erik covered his mouth, not wanting to scream. His heart pounded against his ribcage and he slowly crawled into the bathtub. After a few moments of doors opening and loud footsteps, he heard the apartment door open and close. He slowly exited the bathroom. He turned on the hallway light and slowly walked towards the kitchen.
"Erik?" He heard Curtis gasp out, so he ran into the kitchen and gasped at the sight. Curtis was on the ground, a big gash in his stomach, blood was everywhere. "Erik that's you?"
"Oh my god, Curtis! It's me, stay with me!" Erik felt tears roll down his face as he watched Curtis gasp in pain. "Oh Curtis, please don't die." Right when he finished, Curtis kissed his hand and went limp on the floor.
"Curtis!" Erik screamed, shaking Curtis violently. "No! This is all my fault!" Erik started sobbing uncontrollably.
"I'm so sorry Curtis.." Erik whispered, lying his head on Curtis' chest.
"What the...you're alive?" Once he finished speaking Curtis burst into laughter. "You're such an ass!" Erik slapped Curtis right on the forehead. When Erik entered the living room, there was Curtis' parents laughing, with Kevin right by their side.
"You guys all suck!" Erik screamed stomping off to his room. About an hour and a half later he finally got a bit over it and walked into the living room.
"You really scared me today Curtis, not in a funny way." Curtis looked up from the couch and watched Erik sit next to him. "I thought I lost you."
"Hey, hey, don't go all girl on me." Curtis chuckled. "It was hilarious, Erik admit it. One day you're going to look back and laugh."
"Well..yeah." Erik sighed. "But I do have one question."
"Which is...?"
"How did you know? About the pranlk and all?" Curtis started to laugh, jumping on top of Erik, pinning him down.
"Becuase Erik..." Curtis leaned in close to Erik's face, he was about an inch away when Erik slowly lifted his head to meet Curtis' lips but was quickly pushed down by Curtis' hand.
"Because Erik, you can't outwhit the master!"
