XIV. christmas eve

"Issy wake up" Fred whispered into Isabella's ear. They have been sitting on the train for hours so of course Isabella fell asleep on Fred's shoulder. It was the start of Christmas break after all.

Angelina and Oliver each hugged Isabella one last time and said bye to the twins as they went to find their families.

"Isabella dear! i'm so glad to see you!" Molly hugged her tightly. "it's good to see you too! And thank you so much for letting me stay throughout the Christmas break Mrs. Weasley" Isabella returned the smile. "no problem and please call me Molly"

"It's like we are invisible" Fred and George said at the same time but Molly just smiled and scoffed and hugged Ginny and Ron. "i'm glad to see you too" Mrs. Weasley said to the rest of her children. "Harry, Hermione it's so nice that you are spending Christmas with us" Molly also hugged them while Isabella just shook Mr. Weasley's hand.

Everyone grabbed their stuff as Molly rushed everyone off of the train station.

"How is everyone's school year going so far?" Molly asked at dinner. Everyone started talking over each other and talked about their school year.

As they all ate, everyone went to the living room but Isabella stayed. "would you like some help cleaning this up Molly?" Isabella asked kindly. "oh yes please dear"

They have started cleanings the dishes and everything and just as was Isabella cleaning the table, Molly started "you have always been so helpful Isa. Thank you so much" She smiled. "Oh it's no problem! it's the least that I can do compared to everything that you and your family did for me." Isabella returned the warm smile.

"you can go hang out with the others in the living room with the others, I will finish this up" Molly smiled at Isabella as she walked to the living room.

She sat down next to Fred who was sitting on a couch. "Isabella you listen to A lot of cassettes right?" Mr. Weasley started talking. "do you have any with Christmas music on them?" He asked.

"well yeah but it's mostly muggle music" Isabella replied nervously. "oh well that's perfect! could I borrow one?"
"yeah sure it's in my suitcase" Isabella said and just as she was about to stand up Ginny was faster and already ran into the room that Isabella, Hermione and her will be sharing.

Fred and George insisted that Isabella can sleep in their room but Molly has noticed the tension between Fred and Isabella so she made her share A room with Ginny and Hermione instead.

Ginny came back down and put in the cassette into the old cassette player that Mr. Weasley got at a muggle market.
"rocking around the christmas tree..."
the song started. By now Hermione, Harry, Ron and Mr. Weasley left the room so it was just Ginny, Isabella and the twins.

"why are you guys so boring?" Ginny said annoyed as she was the only one dancing. Over time Ginny convinced Isabella to dance with her and just as 'Jingle bell rock' started playing George also stood up and dance with Ginny.

"Come on Weasley" Isabella smiled to Fred and made him stand up. "I don't know how to dance" Fred admitted. "That would be a great excuse at the dance of the ghosts but not here." Isabella chuckled as she danced with him.

it was late at night and Fred and Isabella were the only ones left in the living room. They were cuddled up on the couch close to the fire place but clearly not enough since Isabella started shivering.

"here" Fred took off his 'F' sweater that his mum made afro him last year and then gave it to Isabella. She put it on and it was A little too oversized but it did the job. "thanks" she smiled kindly at him. "no problem Bella" Fred smirked and started playing with her hair as she payed in his lap.

"do you even know what Bella means?" Isabella chuckled as she suspected that he didn't know. "oh I know" Fred smiled at her. "dire cosa significa" Isabella turned to look at him. "okay there is just so much that I know" They both laughed.

"we should go to sleep" Fred whispered but got no response. Isabella fell asleep on his lap. He slowly moved her head so he could just up and just admired her A little. He then picked her up and carefully took her to her room where Ginny was fast asleep while Hermione was probably still with Ron and Harry.

Fred slowly placed her down on her bed and covered her with a blanket. "it means beautiful" Fred whispered as he looked at her sleeping. Isabella rolled over and looked at him as she rubbed her eyes. "I know" she slightly smiled. "goodnight" Isabella mumble as she turned back around. "goodnight Love" Fred whispered back and closed the door behind him.

"we are going to have A long conversation tomorrow" Ginny said as she chuckled. "you were supposed to be asleep!" Isabella yelled while whisper (you know what I mean😭) as she trowed A pillow at Ginny.
