"sanyukta..." all screamed in unison i held her fragile figure and supported her with my one hand on her back and other holding her waist when i felt something wet on my fingers i turned her around lightly when i saw a hole peirced in her back with the red lehenga burned in round " fuck... call the ambulance right now she has been shot!!" I yelled and in matter of moments she was rushed into the ICU we were waiting out when we saw the police appoaching us " u might be randhir right?" he asked and i wiped my tears and nodded " i am inspector kabir ranawat.... we were informed about this mishap i know it is wrong time for an interrogation but we have to go about with it we are bound by our duties!!" he sympathized " go ahead ask!!" i said as her family surrounded me " how did this happen?" he asked " i don't really know.... she was putting a garland around my neck and and suddenly she fell down!!" i said chocking "did u hear any gun shot?" he asked all of us and we all nodded a no and he licked his lips in frustration as he wasn't able to get much information " do u doubt anyone?" he asked and i looked at parth " we were getting threat calls from past 4-5 days asking to stop the wedding but we didn't think things would go so sour!!" parth said and vidushi hugged him sobbing " aae sawant hyancha telephonecha call details kadhun de mala!!"( sawant get me his house's telephone call records) he ordered his subordinate police officer who nodded and left "is there anyone whom u still suspect?" kabir asked and all looked at me doubtful "what is it?" kabir asked " i'll tell u officer...... the voice of the caller matched a lot to my husbands voice according to them that's y they  are hesitant to speak!!" my mom said "and u r?" kabir asked " i am renuka sanyal randhir's mother..." she said wiping her tears " we are taking all the wedding footage and cctv videos!!" kabir said and all nodded and he left ....... after some hours the doctor came out " how is she?" i rushed to ask him while we all stood there hopefull the doc smiled at me " she is fine consider yourself lucky that the bullet hit just an inch away from the spinal cord she will take time to gain conscious u have to be patient until then!!" he patted my shoulder and left from there while i sat down sighing a relief I hid my face in my palm and felt someone caressing my hair and i looked up to see my mom looking at me intently i hugged her by waist and sobbed like a kid "ssshhh... she is fine!!" she said patting my head " i thought i lost her!!" i cried " aise kaise jaaegi sanyukta apne randhir ko chor k? she is fine baby!" she said caressing my hair while my phone buzzed flashing an unknown number "mr. shekhawat inspector kabir here could u and mr.kashyap come to the police station?" asked kabir asked and i replied positively and left for the police station with parth.....  As we entered the police station i saw kabir sitting on the table with his one leg on the chair other on the ground on its toe and he watching some video on TV and it didn't take me much time to realize that it was our wedding cctv " oh hey mr. shekhawat and mr. kashyap plz come here!!" he said and we went and stood next to him he started  playing the vedio of our jai mala and the moment where sanyukta was trying to put the garland around me as soon as she put the mala around my neck he paused the video  and zoomed it " do u know these men?" he asked pointing to two men totally new to me i nodded a no "mr. kashyap do u? since u were the one handling guest list and the guest  do u know them?" he asked and parth looked intently and still nodded a no " i don't even remember welcoming them!!" he said after thinking a lot " well we think we know  them.... aae raj editing karun dakhav re yhanna!!" (raj do the editing and show them) he ordered his subordinate who was sitting at the computer he seperately edited the two of their pics and placed it on a plain new page and erased their moustache and beard and earsed their pony tail into a boy cut and showed us their pic "do u think  u still know them?" he again asked and we both nodded a no " well they are the sharp shooters kalidas rajan and samuel john.... and we have traced your telephone calls  and each of the call according to the timing u have given that has come is from some new number and currently it is discarded it was a well planned murder mr.shekhawat!!" he said and i almost stopped breathing " but who could be doing this?" i asked gaining my composure " we are trying to trace them both once we find them we can tell u!!" he said and his cell rang "what? okay i'll be there!!" he said and cut the call "mr.shekhawat make sure someone trustable is always around sanyukta and i shall call u once we know something!!" he said and left from there while i and parth walked back to the hospital "what did they say?" vardhan asked as soon as we were there "sharp shooters were specially arranged to kill her  and it was a well planned murder someone trusted is asked to stay with her until the culprit is found!!" parth sighed  24 hours passed by yet sanyukta didn't gain her conscious and with every passing sec i was growing impatient I was feeling terrible that all this was happening to her  because of me! after a while i walked in to her room and saw her pale body which was covered with needles and iv's after watching her for a while i dozzed off on the  chair with my head resting on the bed.... after i don't know how much while i felt someone's hand roaming on m hairs i slowly opened my eyes and saw sanyukta smiling at me i sat up with a jolt and cupped her face "are u okay?" i asked and she nodded and i kissed her face like maniacs and she giggeled "kaha hum suhaagrat manane vaale the  kaha hum face par kissi se hi kaaam chala rahe hai!!" she said giggling with a naughty smile i chuckled and called the doctor up who checked her and smiled "she can be discharged in a weeks time but no physical exhertion for 2 months!!" he smiled and left and she made faces "kya hua shakal kyu bana rahi ho?" i asked taking seat beside her "aare no suhaagraat for 2 months naa!!" she pouted she said it so cutely that i laughed "kya baat hai baby u look very excited for suhaagrat?" i asked smirking and she blushed "aur nahi toh kya we are toh married naa abhi!!" she said poking her tongue out and we heard someone clearing their throat and i looked at the door and found our family there they all came and hugged her "shaadi abhi takk hui nahi hai register karvana baaki hai!!" vids winked and sanyu pouted "chalta hai once we are out of here  karnege naa saab kuch!!" she winked suddenly parth walked in hurriedly and hugged her and started crying while some looked away and wiped their tears while rest went aww  seeing their love "i am fine naa buddhu!!" she hit his head lightly "iss ko rote hue dekh k kaun bolega k yeh eek bacche ka baap hai?" she chuckled wiping his tears suddenly kabir walked in with a CD in his hand "how are u miss aggarwal?" he asked smiling lightly looking at sanyukta "Mrs. shekhawat!!" she corrected him "and i am fine... but who are u?" she asked looking at me and then back to him "well... i am inspector kabir and i wanted to show u a video related to your attempt to murder!!" he said and she gasped "what the fuck attempt to murder?" she looked at all of shocked and we nodded the constable brought in a DVD player and attached to the TV in the room and played it.... it was the interrogation vedio of the criminals "he is the guy who shot u kalidas and john was his accomplice  !!" kabir pointed to the tv and  sanyukta nodded they were hit quite a few times and then they finally confessed " hume harshvardhan shekhawat aur ankit aggarwal ne quotation diya that sanyukta aggarwal ko maarne humne bass humara kaam kiya hai!!" kalidas accepted crying and sanyukta sat there numb reactionless and all of a sudden hugged me sobbing "humne harshvardhan shekhawat ko arrest kar liya hai but we want to know is ankit aggarwal anyway related to u as none of u guys mentioned about him?" kabir said as i ran my hand through sanyukta's  hair as she was still crying!!
