"You." I managed to get out barely above a whisper. I felt like my voice was completely taken away from the eyes that would never leave mine. "Who are y-" before I could even manage to finish my question he reached down grabbed my hand and picked me up from the ground. As soon as our hands touched a wave of electrical shocks ran through me all from the point where our hands met. Quickly taking me hand I tried to take it out if his grasp. Not even faced from the shocks or my attempt escape, walking me out of the store and back to the empty streets.
"Where are you taking me?" I asked. No response. "Hey! You can't ignore me I have the right to know where I'm going." I persisted. Still unfazed by my questions the mystery man kept walking taking Alex and I with him. Did he even feel the shocks that I did? Did I imagine them? All these questions kept filtering through my head not even realising we stopped until I heard the lock of a door behind me, and the electrical tingles that were on my arm completely vanished. Looking around I realized that we were at an apartment. Only problem was I didn't recognize it what so ever.
"Where are we?" I continued to ask him while taking Alex from his arms. As soon as I took Alex away he turned and looked straight at me, but this time I didn't fall for it. Looking away from his eyes I was about to ask him again when he spoke before I had a chance.
"My apartment." responded a deep handsomely voice. It took me awhile to realize it was him who owned that voice.
"Why?" I asked him. Only he's back to no response instead he chose to ignore me and walk into the kitchen. Setting Alex down on the light brown couch I walked in after him. "You can't just ignore me after what just happened. So answer me when I ask you. Why did you bring us here and not the police station?"
"Are you always this talkative?" he responded to me still not looking at me. Offended I walk straight up to him, grab the back of his hoodie and pull it down. Startled by my quick action he turned around grabbed my arms and pushed me up against the counter. Looking up I got a complete view of what he looks like. Brown hair just long enough to be styled, perfectly chiseled face with strong cheekbones. Amazingly smooth skin that compliments those gorgeous green eyes I can never look away from. Unfortunately before I could get lost in those deep eyes of his; his seductively enticing voice catches my ears bringing my attention away from his eyes to a thin set of pale pink lips begging to be touched by mine.
"Don't you ever come at me when I have my guard up! Do you understand?" Unable to bring myself out of my trance to answer him I practically stand there almost seemingly like I didn't understand a word he said."I said do you understand?" he repeated more forcefully this time while also leaning in closer. Even though he was leaning in I could tell he was still a good six foot. A good eleven inches or so above me. Which seems like I would be intimidated especially in the position I'm in now, but I more or less feel more comfortable with him than what I felt with my aunt. Immobilized to speak I just moved my head into a 'yes' nod.
"Glad we came to an understanding." Slowly moving away from me as he spoke. Instantly turning around to continue whatever he thought was so interesting on the counter. Suddenly conscious of myself I said the only thing that came to my mind.
"Thank you.... thank you for helping me back there. I don't know what have happened if you didn't."
"You're welcome. You shouldn't of been there in the first place. It's dangerous." he told me strictly as if it was a new rule for me to follow, and to never ever disobey it. Of course being the stubborn person I am there's no way that would happen.
"You still haven't told me your name. " I persisted to ask.
"Andre" he spoke his name with such a light tone and authority it suddenly made butterflies go off in my stomach, but not the kind I have had before. It almost felt...pleasant.
