Letting Go ~ Chapter 5

Zellia's POV

Arriving downstairs we found a personal chief and everyone sitting at the table. I sat down I the empty chair next to Niall and looked with anticipation as the cook brought the food to our plates. We all immediately dug in enjoying the linguini he had made. Holding my stomach I grumbled knowing how much ate. My eyes went wide as the chief brought out the final dish, Cheese Cake. Why would they do this to me? I thought. Food is my weakness and the more you bring out the more I eat. Finally finishing dessert I fell on the couch holding my stomach.

"Too much food" I managed to get out.

"You ate almost as much as me, impressive" Niall congratulated.

"Yea, oh well it was great Thankyou!" I thanked

"Anytime" he smiled revealing his perfect straight white teeth.

The boy Zayn sat next to putting his arm around my shoulder. I was caught off guard, but decided to play a little joke. I sat up walked away and snuggled up to Louis. Liam and his girlfriend Faith just laughed along with everyone else seeing the rejection on his face. I laughed along and drifted off to sleep as everyone continued talking. The last words I heard was Louis whispering 'Happy Birthday' into my ear.

---

No! I screamed struggling to see through the flood of tears. David lay motionless, no pulse. The sound of ambulances ringing in my ears.

I opened my eyes to find two blue eyes staring into mine.

"Are you alright? Was it your dream again?"

I nodded my head and patted to the empty space next to me. As Niall took the spot he cradled me in his arms back to sleep. I don't remember being carried off in my sleep but one of the boys must have done so.

Sun shining I opened my eyes looking at the time it was only seven thirty, so I wriggled out if Niall's warmth and went to the bathroom to change into my exercise clothes. I grabbed my phone and iHome turning on my workout playlist. Rolling out the mat on the patio I began my yoga routine.

Niall's POV

Zellia was gone when I woke up so I decided to get up and eat some breakfast. Walking to the kitchen I noticed Louis, Harry, and Zayn staring at something. I walked up next to them and started to ask a question.

"What are you guys star-"

I stopped mid sentence seeing Zellia doing yoga and so easily do poses a baby couldn't do. She was so flexible and that wasn't a bad thing. The music was blasting 'Cups' by 'Lulu & the Lampshades' she moved to the music. We all just started as she continued going through different poses. As she finished and walked in the house we all scrambled around trying to act normal.

"What's the plan for the day?" Zellia asked coming in the house.

"Just another lazy day, we can do whatever you want" Harry sweet talked.

"Swimming then?" She suggested

"Yes!" Everyone of us boys said a little to anxious

"Okay... Let me just get on my swimsuit" she said running off to her room.

"Man! Niall, Harry, you're too lucky. I mean have you seen her and she lives right next to you. When you called me up and said a girl you just met was coming with us I thought it was a little to sudden, but know I see why." Zayn said

I poured a bowl of cereal along with some toast. Just in time I finished my food as Zelena came downstairs looking beautiful in her American flag bikini I had packed for her.

"Ready to go?" She called out as the four boys ran behind her like little ducklings following their mom.

She jumped in the water right into the wave. Never had I seen a girl so comfortable swimming in the ocean. Dodging the waves and playing around she looked so beautiful. Jenna and Zayn sat on the chair by the pool chatting away a storm. I sat by the water filling my hands with sand as Harry and Louis played around with Zel. Looking down in the sand I picked up the most beautiful seashell I had ever seen.

"That's beautiful" a familiar voice said behind me. I looked up to find a face more beautiful than the shell.

"Almost as beautiful as you" I complimented Zellia

She grabbed my hand pulling me up and leading me down the beach.

"Before I did my yoga I went on a run and found this cove" she said walking into a cave I had never seen before.

"It reminded me of you"

Inside the cave was a small beach with a waterfall and stream to the ocean. Hand in hand we climbed up behind the waterfall revealing a hidden platform. We sat on the platform and let our legs hang off.

"Before my parents died we lived in California for three years. She always used to tell me 'There is nothing more beautiful than the way the ocean refuses to stop kissing the shoreline, no matter how many times it is sent away. I thought it was the funniest thing, but now anytime I see the waves I think of her. Gosh! I know it's cheesy"

"No, it's cute. The way you talk about your family with such care." I leaned down and kissed her, we both felt it and pulled away a shock touching my lips I looked into her eyes. I saw she felt it, I had never felt like that kissing anyone.

We sat there as the sun went down silence between us. Not awkward silence but a beautiful silence. I stood up knowing we should leave before it got late.

Walking back hands intertwined the boys raised there eyebrows at us. I rolled my eyes trying my best to ignore their immaturity.

"Tonight we hit the club!" Harry yelled as we finally made it in the house.

Zellia sat next to me at the table and grabbed my hand underneath giving me a sly smile. I smiled back and Faith placed a few boxes of pizza noticing Zellia and I's little exchange.
