Ah, grammar. Something that everyone on Wattpad doesn't have.
Just kidding, it's a very few amount.
Which is why today in this chapter I am teaching you how to rack up views with your great grammar to prove you aren't a complete dumbass who doesn't know how to write!
Step 1: Capitalizing
When using your story, always remember to capitalize your letter correctly after a period, question mark, or exclamation point. No, not a comma, you don't capitalize after a comma. Everyone knows that.Step 2: Run on sentences
Run on sentences make you look like an animal without any periods.
Don't know what I'm taking about?
Example: It was a sunny day and Anna was going to meet Elsa in the town square and they were going to talk about stuff okay stuff about the London don't judge them plsStep 3: NEIN!
Just kidding, I'm not German.
But I am a Grammar Nazi.
Spell your shit correctly.
It pisses me off.
If you can't pronounce a word, don't use it or ask someone for a grammar check.
The only time I'll understand is if you're pointing fingers on Auto-Correct. I feel your pain.
SPELL IT RIGHT! NEIN!Step 4: You're, your, you are
I also hate when people use the wrong "your". Stop it. It's not that hard. Just think for a minute and use the right "your". Please.Step 5: Abrv.
Please, please, please only use abbreviations when needed!
Bad example: Pls favorite my story!
Good example: I've seen Mary-Ann walk her dog down Main St. For a while now.
Also when using abbreviations, put a period after this, we've already been over this!Step 6: Quotations
OH MY GOD THIS BOTHERS THE HELL OUT OF ME
USE QUOTATIONS WHEN YOU'RE QUOTING SOMEONE PLEASE
AND DON'T GIVE ME THAT BULLSHIT EXCUSE "But it's too much to write and my fingers are gonna hurt"So guys, I hope this helped you and by the way, this is made for comedy. But at least take some of it seriously.
