Chapter 24 Was it real

**Maka POV**
I watched my mother and father smile at each other. I heard Blackstar say "Ryan, hes out." I clenched my hand into a fist. Soul looked down like he was depressed. I felt a tear hit my hand. He watched Blackstar leave. I lifted up as I continue to watch the love grow inside the coffee shop. Soul spun me around as he was holding my shoulders. He pulled me into his comforting arms for a hug but instead I kissed him. We kissed passionately. Five minutes later, I felt a touch on my shoulder I broke the kiss that Soul and I had shared. It was Mama. I smiled in embarrassment as Papa is smiling as well. I said "What a surprise to see you two here!" She looked at Soul and I as she said "Why are you two here? You came to spy." Soul said "We didn't know you two was gonna be here actually." I said "Well Soul and I have to get back. Since we have more plans." We waved bye, but we wouldn't go anywhere. We followed them through town. They were smiling and having fun like they use to, as I was told.

**Soul's POV**
We was finally about to go back to the apartment. When I heard music playing in the distance through Death City. I grabbed Makas hand, she looked at me in shock. We started dancing. I asked her "Is all the invitations mailed out?" She said "Only half of them. I was wanting you to help me mail the other half to your family." My smile dropped. I said "Wes might come. Blackstar is my Best Man. Wes is after him." She looked at me and said "Soul I want us that's all. I don't want a big wedding. My sixteenth birthday is next month" that night was magical. After we danced we had ran into a familiar face. "Ryan!" I said. Maka put her hand on my chest trying to calm me down. "I see she hasn't fully recovered yet, it's going to be a slow process." He said while staring at Maka. He said "I'm not here to take her or harass her, I want you to know that your good for her. Randy I tried to stop him, but he was my partner. Their was something wrong him I didn't understand what it was. He was beginning to eat human souls on his own." I said "Ryan that's enough. Don't get in my way and tell me why I shouldn't make you pay for what you and him done to her. Get away from us, I mean it!" Maka was behind me as I put her when he began talking to us. I held her hand as hers intertwined with mine. About five minutes later we arrive at the apartment building. We walk in, then we see Tsubaki holding her hands together while smiling. She had her hair down. Maka said "Tsubaki you ok? Blackstar hurt your feelings again." She stood up and said "Maka I need you to come with me tomorrow." Maka looked confused. She said "Ok. Is 12:00 alright for tomorrow." She smiled and said "Of course I'll see you then." I was confused by what was going on. We finally came to the apartment and opened the door. We saw a letter on the table it read;
                 Maka and Soul
I'm still in Death City. I'm gonna be out late for some errands I had to run. I really appreciate what you two had done. I really had fun with Spirit. Maka your father is a good man. You have one as well. I figured it out about today. You two set it up. I love you two for that.

I smile at Maka knowing what we done. We sat down on the couch. Maka looked at me while she laid in my lap. She pulled my shirt down signaling for me to kiss her. We kiss passionately until later became a make out session. I feel the heat overriding my body. I feel my heart racing. I felt something that I haven't felt before. It was like magic hit me. I put my hand on the back of her head to keep it stable. We break the make out session. I hear her breathing heavily as I remembered the last time we had shared a moment like this. I fell deeper in love with her. She slowly put her hand on my face. I ask her "Maka are you ok?" She said "Soul I'm about to be sixteen. We're already engaged, can we get married early?" I said "Maka you don't want to make me into a Death Sythe first?" She said "well it would be nice but I wanna be with you as fast and soon as possible." I said "we already sent the invitations out." She said "Yeah your right." She lays their for a few minutes in my lap. She fell asleep.
--------Makas Nightmare------
"What's happening? Where am I?" I walk to the light in the distance. I hear Soul's voice screaming my name. It was coming from the light in the distance. I start running to the light in the distance. I finally reached the light. I step through the light. I appear at the DWMA. I see Blackstar and Tsubaki walking towards the end of the hallway, by the mission boards. I see Soul. "Who is that guy he's arguing with?" Suddenly I see myself coming from behind. I see the guy turn. It was Randy. I pull my clones arm trying to guide her the opposite direction. I walk passed Soul without looking at him. Tears fall from his eyes. I look back behind me wondering why he was upset. I turn forward trying to follow my clone. My clone goes into this big classroom. My clone is different from what I look like now. She is tall, ashy blonde hair in a ponytail, her hair is thick, she has bigger boobs then I do now. Tsubaki walks and sits beside my clone. I see Soul come into the room sitting next to me. I turned to try to study what the purpose of this dream. I see Randy behind me staring at me with devil eyes. Ryan is in front of Soul and I. She has a wedding set on her left hand. "I did marry Soul!" I thought. I turned and seen a wedding ring on Soul's left hand while they were holding hands under the desk. Class was done. My clone walked into a different direction than Soul. I follow Soul. He is arguing with Randy again. Randy punches Soul. I ran to him trying to touch him. My hand goes through his body like running your hand in mist. I was frightened. Randy continued to hurt Soul until Soul was dead. My clone seen blood on the floor, she was screaming for help. Randy grabbed her up and carried her out and tied her up. I awoke from my dream

**Makas POV**
The dream scared me. I woke up scared and hoping it wasn't real. I felt around the bed to find Soul. He is beside me sleeping peacefully. I took a deep breath as a tear rolled down my face. I looked at the alarm clock that we had bought a few days ago. It read; 4:00 a.m. I turn back over to get comfortable. Soul woke up from being in a peaceful sleep. He said "Hey Maka, sweetheart what's wrong?" As he turned on the lamp, he could tell what was wrong. He asked me "Maka what happened?" I hugged him as tightly as possible. I was lucky enough to have this love. I whispered "Soul was it real? All these memories that lay in my mind about those days without you, about Randy, Ryan. I'm beginning to have those dreams again. It can't be real!" He pulled me in for a hug as I cried. I cried until I grew tired. I fell asleep on Soul's shoulder. He kissed my cheek as he gently laid my head down upon that pillow besides him.

**Soul's POV**
It hurts me to see that those memories are still fresh in her mind. I stayed up all night long to make sure Maka was ok, to let her know that I was watching over her. Morning came, I was sitting down on the floor with my head pressed against my knees that was pulled to my chest. I thought "How can someone be so strong without thinking about it." I heard Maka toss and turn again. I began to get worried. She awoke. She asked "Why are you on the floor?" I said "Since your dream last night I wanted to make sure that you'll know that I'm here to watch over you. To make sure nothing else happens to you ever again." She said cheerfully "Soul it's just a dream. Tsubaki will be here any minute." I smiled at her with confidence. All of a sudden a felt of anger filled my body. The memory about Maka getting hurt again raged through my mind as what was said were intertwining with it. I grabbed my spiky white hair with madness. I heard a knock on the door. I got up from where I was sitting to open the door, it was Tsubaki.

**Makas POV**
I knew where Tsubaki and I were going. Patty and Liz was waiting at us to get their. I kissed Soul and left. Tsubaki looked so excited. I said with a smile "What's that smile for?" She said "I'm glad to see you happy and Blackstar actually wants him and I to go out tonight." I said "Wow, he asked?" In the distance I seen Corona. He didn't seem to happy, well like himself. Tsubaki and I didn't say a word. We arrived. Tsubaki said "Now let's get to shopping your birthday isn't far away." I thought about it for a moment. "I wonder what is going on with Soul?"
