How Do I Do This?

Just a Normal Life?

Normal day as always. I wake up get in the shower and go to my best friends house.
"Mom! I'm going over to Kara's I'll be back before dark. Love you."
"Love you to sweetheart. Tell her I say hi."
As I begin walking down the street I notice Kaleb, Kara's brother, playing basketball. Once upon a time we were together but now he's one of my best friends.
"Morning Kaleb." I continue to the door while I put my head down avoiding eye contact.
"Morning Arra." Kara opens the door before I have a chance to knock.
"Morning Kara. Did I come over to early again?" Kara wasn't wearing pants... again. Lately she's been to lazy in the mornings and stopped caring.
"Nah, I just don't care anymore. What do you wa-" Kara was cut of by screams coming from the apartments down the street.
"What was that?" Katrina said coming up behind Kara.
BOOM
A gun shot?
WEHOO WEHOO
Police?
"Someone got into some trouble and it wasnt you this time." Kaleb looked at me and winked. "Lets go check it out."
"Are you insane?!" Both Katrina and Kara say in unison. I say nothing looking down the street with a bad feeling as the hairs on my neck begin to rise and my human form harder to keep.
