It's been a few months since we wrapped the movie and now I have to work at Canadian Dance Company with Dad, what's funny about this is as he played Lucien we both have inside knowledge of the movie.
Today we have a ballet class that I'm teaching for dad and it will be nice. I am just preparing my music. I have decided to make a playlist on Spotify so now I'm just searching for a song to use for the battement practice aka the more advanced foot work jumps, I randomly decide upon Myles' song The Love We Had, I choreograph my combo to it and note it down. I sit down and wait for the class.
The class goes well and when I play The Love We Had to demonstrate the combo I am met with squeals of BRYLES. This makes me chuckle because I know that in the movie its Noacquie ans it would probably have the same reaction. I teach then watch the combo a few times over then proceed with the rest of class. At the end I suddenly change my coil down song to another one of Myles', I decide to use his song Voglio Vederti that's under his alt name Myles George
To my surprise the students sing along as they cool down. This makes me proud of Myles.
