Loyalty and Deception

Ananya returned to office, her mind reeling with Rohan's revelations. She couldn't shake off the feeling that Dev's empire was built on questionable grounds. Upon reaching her desk, Ananya decided to report Rohan's claims to Dev, despite her reservations. 

"Sir, I need to speak with you,"

Ananya said, entering Dev's office. Dev looked up from his papers.

"What is it, Ananya?"

Ananya took a deep breath. 

"Rohan approached me. He claims you're involved in some shady business dealings."

Dev's expression remained unreadable, but his eyes narrowed.

"What else did he say?"

Ananya hesitated before revealing the details. Dev listened intently, his face a mask of calm.

"I appreciate your loyalty, Ananya,"

Dev said finally.

"Rohan's been trying to sabotage me for years. Don't believe his lies."

Ananya nodded, unsure of what to believe. As she left Dev's office, Ayaan approached her.

"Ananya, be cautious. Dev's not the one to cross."

Ananya's heart sank.

I want to say that I'm grateful that I got to join a community of people where my skills are valued and I am glad I'm contributing something to their community and trying to help other people like me to find their interests and make it their fire. So, I am dedicating this chapter to them. This is very out of the blue but I jusy heard a quote from my friend and it made me realise I should show my thankfulness who actually valued my knowledge and skills, especially me as a person.

These communities followed and gave me some support. I remember I craved support deep inside me but showed everyone I need no one's support. But now I have 16 supporters/followers and many more people who read my work.
