The next day went almost like any other day , this day was slightly different because Thea would be more sorry than ever
Even tho we still killed each other with our glares I couldn't help but to smile evilly at her every time our eyes met
The thing I hated the most of school was that most of my classes were with Thea
"So what's you evil plan?" Edgar asked me while I was looking at Thea standing there in her locker with a girl I've never seen before, Thea wasn't aware that I was looking at her
"Chemistry" I said looking at Edgar
"Chemistry?" He asked clearly confused and I just smiled
"Yup, chemistry" I smirked
He finally understood and we went to the chemistry classroom while everyone else was at lunch
"What's her table?" Edgar asked
"Table 5" I answered, which was the first table of the second row (there were 4 tables on each row, and there were 3 rows, and each table was meant for 3 or 2 students)
Since we had chemistry after lunch the teacher had already placed the materials on each table
"Change that purple one with this purple one" I told Edgar and he did as told then we ran to the cafeteria where everyone was
We walked to our usual table after getting our food
"What was that purple thing?" Edgar asked me while taking a bite of his sandwich
"A totally different substance" I smirked "and don't ask anymore questions Ed, just wait and see"
A few minutes later Thea approached us
"What is it with you today?" She asked
"What do you mean?" I asked not looking at her and kept eating my lunch
"Every time we made eye contact you smiled instead of doing that usual little twitch with your mouth" she said
"What twitch?" I asked looking at her with an angry confusion expression
It was the first time that we ever looked at each other in the eye without hate, it was weird and a bit awkward
"Awkward" she said in a whisper, I think that she didn't realize I heard that comment because then she spoke like if she had said nothing "Alexander, I know you're up to something, what you said to me yesterday gave me a little clue that I'm right"
I smiled "you'll just have to wait and see" I said and gave another white Hershey bite into my mouth
She rolled her eyes, she was about to leave but she turned around again
"Thanks for the ride yesterday" she said between embarrassed, shy and angry
"I would say 'no problem' but it was more than a problem" I said
"Jerk" she said and left
"You gave her a ride home?" Edgar asked
"My brother told her he would take her home, which meant I had to drive her home" I said "and the worst part is that we live in the same neighborhood, it's just terrible"
The bell rang and we all headed to class
"It's showtime" I said and gave Edgar a high five
We entered the classroom and saw Thea sitting with Sebastian and my brother, this was gonna teach her a very valuable lesson:
Don't play with fire against Alexander Draydon because if you do you will get burned for sure
