Luna's journey wasn't over; it had only just begun. When she woke, it wasn't in the afterlife, as she had expected, but in a strange new body — that of a young girl with fiery red hair and clear blue eyes. Her mind still reeled from the shock of her former life, the life she had just escaped. But now, she had no idea who she was anymore.

The room around her felt unfamiliar, grand yet suffocating. The ornate ceiling above her was painted with scenes of rolling clouds and golden rays, and the bed she lay upon was draped in silken sheets, their touch foreign against her skin. The faint scent of lavender lingered in the air, and the distant sound of birdsong filtered through an open window. Luna's senses were overwhelmed, and for a moment, she couldn't tell where her past ended and her present began.

A soft gasp broke her reverie. "My lady, you're awake! We've all been so worried," said a maid, her voice trembling as she gently laid a hand on Luna's arm. Her wide, tear-filled eyes searched Luna's face, and for a moment, the girl felt a flicker of comfort—then confusion.

Luna's head spun as she stared at the maid. Who was this person? And why did everything feel so unfamiliar? Her gaze drifted downward to her hands, slender and pale, so unlike her own. Panic surged within her, and her eyes caught her reflection in the polished glass of a nearby cabinet. The girl who stared back at her was not Luna Tillberry — not the girl who had been born to the cold Duke and mistreated by those who should have loved her. This girl had vibrant red hair and piercing blue eyes that seemed to glow with an intensity she didn't recognize.

The maid's expression shifted, sorrow clouding her features. "My lady... don't you remember? You're Lady Violet, the second daughter of Duke Ignatius. You... you've been gravely injured before, and we thought we had lost you... but now you're back with us."

Luna's breath caught in her throat. "Violet?" she whispered, testing the name on her tongue. Her mind was a whirlwind of confusion. She had been Luna Tillberry, a girl abandoned by her father, tortured by the staff, and eventually lost to fate. Now, she was someone else — a girl named Violet. The name felt alien, like a mask she had been forced to wear.

The maid hesitated before speaking again, her voice laced with urgency. "You were pushed down the stairs by your stepbrother. He made it look like an accident, but I know the truth. Your father... he didn't see it, didn't understand what was happening under his own roof. But I won't let it stay a secret. I swear it. I'll tell the Duke myself, and I'll make sure your stepmother doesn't get away with her cruelty."

Luna—or Violet—stared at the maid, her heart sinking. The pain of her past life clung to her even in this new form, this new identity. She had felt betrayed, forgotten, and abandoned once before, and now it seemed the cycle was repeating. Her chest tightened as the memories of her former suffering surfaced — her father's disdain, the maids' cruelty, her body bruised and broken. She had been lost to the world, her existence an afterthought to those who should have cared for her.

A deep ache filled her chest, but this time, she felt something else too. A flicker of resolve, a faint ember of hope. In this new body, she had a second chance—an opportunity to fight back against the forces that had once crushed her spirit.

"What happened to me?" Luna's voice was soft, barely above a whisper, as she tried to grasp the reality of her situation.

The maid's face crumpled with sorrow. "I'm so sorry, my lady. You... you fell unconscious after the fall. We feared the worst. Your stepbrother, he's a monster. I know you had suffered at his hands before. But now... now you're back, and I swear, I'll make sure he pays for what he did to you."

Luna's heart wrenched. The past was still alive in her, still haunting her. But there was also a determination stirring in her chest, a need for justice — not just for herself, but for the version of her who had been silenced, for the broken girl named Violet who had lived a life of cruelty and neglect.

"I won't be weak," Luna whispered, more to herself than to the maid. Her voice wavered, but the words carried a new strength. "I won't let them do this to me again."

The maid, Violet's loyal servant, nodded fiercely. "No, my lady. You're not weak. You are strong, and I will help you make them see that. You're not just a victim anymore."

Luna closed her eyes, the weight of her old life and this new one settling over her like a suffocating cloak. She was no longer Luna Tillberry, the neglected daughter of a distant Duke. She was Violet now, but she couldn't escape the wounds that ran deep. She had been tossed aside in the past, but this time, she would fight. She would claw her way out of the shadows, no matter the cost.

Violet's face, though it was not her own, reflected the same strength and determination that had always been a part of her, even in her darkest moments. She had been cast aside, unnoticed, but now she would make the world see her.

"I won't let them silence me," Luna murmured, her voice trembling but filled with resolve. "This time... I will make them remember my name."

The maid stood beside her, her eyes full of loyalty and fury. "You are Lady Violet now. But you are also Violet Tillberry—the daughter they tried to bury. And I won't let them get away with what they've done."

A spark of fire ignited in Luna's chest. This life, this second chance, would not be spent in silence. She would make them all pay for what they had done, not just to her, but to everyone who had suffered in the shadows of this family.

And as the days passed, Luna would find herself torn between two identities — the girl who had suffered and the woman who would rise from the ashes. Each step she took in this new world would be a reminder of her past and a declaration of her future.

In this life, she would no longer be forgotten.

This time, Violet , Ignatius would fight for herself.
