Fayline's POV
My first dorm experience was awkward. I'm no good with people that I don't know and barely said a word other than my name and mumbled replies to the odd question the peppy blonde asked to try to break the ice. In my opinion we have barely penetrated the glacier!

 By five o'clock we were all starving, so we headed to the diner. We sat in a brown leather booth. Tiana, a Louisianan ordered for us, food was her forte. Tiana and the annoyingly cheerful blond chatted away and the other two girls and I were left staring at each other. The girl with platinum blonde hair, wearing an ice blue skater skirt and a white t-shirt called Elsa suggests that the three of us play two truths and a lie. I have a mental fight between my shyness and my want to make friends. After a few seconds of heated debate a say yes followed by the girl with deep purple hair wearing jeans and a shirt that said 'Always be yourself, unless you can be Loki, then always be Loki'. I smiled at that, I tend to prefer chick-flicks but come on, everyone likes a good superhero film!

Elsa goes first.
"OK...I live in Norway. I have snow and ice powers. I love blue food."
I think both Tiana and Aurora have started listening.
"I think the lie is the ice and snow powers, that is just ridiculous." I grin
Tiana responds "No, no no, Fayline, the ice and snow powers are so ridiculous they have to be true!"
"Anyway, she is drinking blue lemonade so she obviously doesn't hate blue food." Violet adds.
"Arrergh. I don't know." Aurora says face palming.
Elsa flashes a devious grin and says "Do you give up?"
I look at everyone else and we silently agree.
"Ok, fine you win, we give up." I groan
"You got one thing right. I loooooove blue food and I don't live in Norway, I live in Arendelle." Elsa says
Aurora's eyes widen "So you have..."
Elsa cuts her off by discreetly creating a small snowstorm in the centre of the table. It clears to reveal a miniature ice sculpture of the five of us sitting around the table. We decide to keep it in our dorm. 

The entrées arrived. Tiana had ordered well. We all helped ourself to shrimp gumbo, chicken and biscuits, and cheesy curly fries. Over dinner I learnt that Violet can turn invisible and that her whole family have super powers. Aurora sleeps like a tranquilized sloth and Tiana dreams of opening a restaurant. By the time we finished our entrées we were both full and friends.
We were about to ask for the bill before a plate full of whipped cream and pasties was placed on the table. Tiana looked down sheepishly.
"I might have ordered the most amazingly amazing beignets ever."
We sat back down and tucked in. In no time we were laughing at each other's whipped cream mustaches .
We continued to talk about family and home until a platoon of girls lead by a girl overly clad in pink. Her skirt was too short and she obviously wearing way too much make up.I looked away wishing that I were invisible like Violet. They were walking in our direction. Oh my goodness gracious me, I wished that the ground would open up and swallow me whole.
"Heeeey, Tia," the girl taunted in a sickly sweet voice, "it is soo sweet how you have found some loser friends. Oh, I am so glad that we don't hang out any more. Anyway what I really wanted to talk about is that hottie that you call your boyfriend. Yeah Naveen, well I'm going to have to ask you to BACK OF FROM MY BAE."
"Lottie, we were so close as kids. Do you remember that we promised to never let a boy come between us. Anyway you never liked Naveen before we were dating. Look, I understand that it must be hard for something who has everything to not have something. But we can still be friends." Tiana replied almost in tears.
Lottie's large bright pink lips formed a pout. "Oh Tia even after Naveen is mine, we could never be friends. After all, I should hang out with people below me!"
Tear are carving out ravines down Tiana's cheek bones. I may be shy but I have been raised to stand up for what I believe in, and what is right and what I saw was wrong and I couldn't let my newfound friend suffer. I stood up and said, injecting as much contempt as I could muster into my words,"Shut up Lottie. From what I've heard Naveen and Tiana are together and they will stay that way despite what you say. Also, don't talk to my friend like that. Just because you are rich, you are not in any way better than Tiana." I sat down suddenly noticing the silence the deli had fallen into. I felt incredibly self conscious, but the moment I sat down Elsa popped up.
"Yeah, Fayline is right. You can't prance around here treating people like dog poo. You may think your money will buy you friends. Well the moment you fall from popularity you will find your so called friends gone. Also we are not losers. Just because we care about studying and books and we don't wear short, tight clothes that show way too much we are not losers. We simply care about different things. I'd like an apology."
For a second Elsa hits home, but Lottie's delusions about life reappeared. She looked at us innocently. An apology was nowhere to be found. Violet tentatively stood up and said "Just stop it Lottie. Just apologise. Please. We were having such a good night be you got here. Just apologise and leave us all alone."
Lottie look at us with a look that could kill enough people to win a war. "Sorry." She spun on the enormous heel of her hot pink stiletto. I honestly wished that her ankle would snap there and then. As she started to leave, the one person that didn't speak up for Tiana got up and started to file out with the rest of Lottie's followers. Aurora looked back apologeticly and then left.
Before I could get angry. I felt a hand on my shoulder.
"Thank you. Thank you so much." Tiana pulled us into a hug.
I may have made three best friends.
