》Zack's P.O.V.《

I missed Joe. Like a lot. I didn't know how much I could actually miss someone than now. I wanted to hug him and I wanted him to tell me things were gonna be okay, but I wasn't so sure anymore. School was hell, and I didn't like showing my face in public because of it. That's where Joe came in.

Joe was my downfall.

Whenever I needed him, he was there to catch me. Which is what I loved so dearly about him.

My name is Zack. Otherwise known as Poke, or Pokediger1 on youtube. I made gaming video's for a living, quite like Joe did.

I was nearing the end of my high school years, being in grade twelve, and graduating this coming year. Graduating sounded so amazing right now. After school was out, I would be able to see Joe again, which gave me butterflies every time I thought about it. Joe made me my happiest.

I was currently walking to school, and had just gotten off the phone with Joe, as I did every morning. If we couldn't see each other everyday, we made the effort to talk whenever we could, out of school hours of course. After school we would usually record something for our channels or just talk on skype for hours and hours on end.

I approached the doors of my school and took a deep breath.

"Don't let those douchebags at school get to you... m'kay?"

I remembered Joe's words, which instantly put a huge grin on my face. He was such a dork, but I loved him regardless.

The bell rang three, which meant that school was finally out and I could go home to doing what I liked best.

Being alone, and talking to Joe.

I charged right out of tech class and took off for my locker. I punched in my combination.

I unhooked the lock and swung my locker open, making sure I wasn't going to hit anyone, which didn't help in my case. I did hit someone, and I happened to hit the one person I did not want to hit.

Mark.

Mark was one of the most popular kids in the school, and  everyone loved him, except me. Mark enjoyed making fun of my height, size, and the way I dressed. There was no way in hell I would ever tell that man my sexuality, I would never see the end of it.

I cringed and stood up straight, sealing my lips tight and making sure not to make eye contact, trying to avoid further conversation with him. That didn't happen.

"Really Zack?" Mark chuckled, which frightened me. He was so much larger than I was. "Don't you ever take the time to look where you're going, or swinging your locker? Hmm?" He cracked his knuckles and I stuffed my binder in my locker, grabbing my bag and swinging it over my back. I shut my locker to avoid further conflict. I locked it quickly.

I took a deep breath. "Listen Mark, I'm really sorry. I'm just in a rush to get home and I didn't see you there..." I sighed and rubbed the back of my neck awkwardly and nervously laughed.

He looked at me, and then back at his friends. I cringed. "Listen Zack, I'll let you go home to your girlfriend or something, but next time, don't expect to get off so easily. Got it?"

I clenched my fist, I was not gonna hurt, or even lay a finger on him, but the feeling felt right. "I don't have a girlfriend Mark."I said, almost proudly, which made me happy. I thought of Joe, which made me not run out of there that moment.

He laughed again. "Boyfriend? Girlfriend? Who cares. No one. Run along home now." He laughed and his friends backed him up.

 I nodded and scurried off quickly, before Mark could say anything else to me. I walked right out of the school doors and onto the sidewalk that took me right home. I couldn't wait to tell Joe that he was the one who made me stick up, somewhat, for myself today.

I loved Joe so much.
