"He's hot." Kendall mutters, nudging my hip with hers. I look across the reception at Armstrong.

"Yeah?" I ask.

"Yeah." she says. "Do you know him?"
"Yeah." I say. "So do you. He's the guy that got you away from those bombs."

"He has cuffs?" Kendall asks.

"Yeah."

"Good sex then." she says. "Can you talk to him for me?"

I sigh. "Are you going to take it seriously and not fuck him and leave?"

"Yes. I'm ready for a serious relationship."

He's talking to Luke.

I nod slowly and walk across the dance floor to my husband and Armstrong.

"Hey." I say. Luke's eyes light up and he pulls me against him. "How about Kendall?" I ask Armstrong.

"The girl that was banging her head against the wall? I'll pass. I wanna meet that girl that got you drunk on your birthday."

"That's Kendall." I say. "She also got me hammered last night."

"Kendall has a history of fucking and going."

"No." I shake my head. "She's changed, alright? She's been through a lot and she's ready for a real relationship."

"I don't know." Armstrong looks over his shoulder at Kendall, who immediately ducks her head.

"Just give her a shot." I say. "Please?"

"No. It's your wedding day. I'm not going to do that."

"Why not?" I ask.

"Because."

"But I want you to do that."

"No. I'll talk to her after you guys leave."

I sigh.

Once everyone arrives, we're called for the first dance.

Luke takes my hand and pulls me to the center of the dance floor.

The song I chose is secretly Luke's favorite love song, and I love it too, so I chose it and didn't tell him.

One the guitar starts, his looks down at me.

"You didn't." he whispers.

"I did." I smile.

"I love you." he says, moving me around the dance floor.

"I love you too."

If the heart is always searching,

Can you ever find a home?

I've been looking for that someone,

I'll never make it on my own

Dreams can't take the place of loving you,

There's gotta be a million reasons why it's true.

He spins me and then pulls me back into his chest.

"You know," he starts softly, "This is the first time we've danced together."

I frown, thinking.

When you look me in the eyes,

And tell me that you love me.

Everything's alright,

When you're right here by my side.
