I had the windows down, the wind grabbed at my hair, caressing it away from my face. I sat comfortably in my car. I saw many signs advertising the carnival. I turned left to the carnival's parking lot. I rolled up the windows, turned the car off and got out. My skinny jeans hugged my curves, I grabbed my purse, and walked to the carnival. As soon as I had left my car my senses were attacked. My ears were filled with kids screaming in joy, and the musical lure of many games. I walked towards the gates where the ticket where being sold.

"All day pass please" I told the guy at I handed him $15 and he wrapped the purple band around my wrist that would let me ride as many rides as I wanted to. I walked past the gate and took in more of the magicalness of the carnival. The things that attacked my senses earlier intensified. I stood for a moment enjoying the attacks, each scream of joy, each whift of unrecognizable food. I opened my eyes and rushed for the ferris wheel. I stood in line, behind a crowd of people each one was paired up. Guys with their arms resting on the shoulders of their girls'. Some with the girl in front of them holding her with their arms around her tummy and head resting on her's. All completly in love. There were other couples in the line. A mother and her daughter, the daughter wearily looking at the ferris wheel. Obviously this was her first time on this ride, her mom holding her hand telling her of movies that had the ride in it, then as the mom's eyes filled with silent tears, of how the girl's father, this was his favorite ride. Then I heard the mother ask the girl if she remembered how daddy and mommy decided to get married.

"Daddy asked me to marry him while we were at the top of the ferris wheel." The mother shared with her daughter. The girl, no longer afraid started to look excited to go on the ferris wheel.

The line moved and the couples in front of me got on, the mom and daughter got on, when it was my turn I flashed the guy my purple wrist band. He smiled and nodded, "Just yourself?" he questioned.

I nodded, "Just a me day" I murmered and sat in the empty cart. The man smiled at me and waved the next group in, I felt my stomach drop at the sudden movements. I grinned and felt my cart jerk up, so that the next empty cart could be filled.

My little cart swayed back and forth from each movement. As the guy filled the ferris wheel, once I was at the top, swaying back and forth gently, the man started the ride. The ferris wheel turning so that it was going backwards, so you could look at the carnival while going up and part ways going down. I strained my eyes, looking for my next ride.

Smack dab in the middle of the carnival, I saw a funhouse. Remembering the song from earlier, the song that brought me here, I knew that'd be my next desination. Taking in the events around the carnival, the "merry go round", the roller coasters. There was so much going on the little carnival area. Bumper car, crashed into each other. I saw many of those vending areas where you played an easy game and won a stuffed animal. I saw many couples crowding around that area.

After doing a few more rounds on the ferris wheel I was let off, along with all the cute couples who were giggling, the girls still swooning from the kiss at the top of the ferris wheel, leaned agaist their boyfriend. I walked to nearest food stand that was selling cotton candy. I ordered a pink fluff ball, handing them their money I walked away with my pink amazingness on a stick. I unwrapped it and pulled off a tuff of the cotton candy. I popped it into my mouth feeling the cotton melt into sweet candy. I pressed my tongue against the roof of my mouth trapping the candy. Happily ate the cotton deliciousness as I walked around trying to figure out where the fun house that I had seen was.

Stopping at an empty booth I asked the vender who was standing there, "Hey could you tell me where the fun house is?" I smiled to show friendlyness. He returned my smile.

"Sure no problem, just keep walking along here, its at the end of the row," Still holding his smile on his face I noticed how he was pretty cute... He had a youngish goofy look to him. Playfullness shone in his eyes.
