Chapter 18

*Mar's POV*
*Next day*
I woke up and went to the trap to handle more business and apparently Dallas will meet me there. I've been more business focused now and I've been neglecting Natalie. She's either at school or work so we don't really have time to spend with each other anymore and I don't like that but I gotta make money. I pulled up to the trap and Dallas was already here.

"Yo my niggas what it do "

"Mar what's up"

"What we doin"

"Well right now we doing more inventory"

I sat down with the boys and we all did inventory and smoked and laughed till there was a knock on the door.

"Yall who the fuck is here"

"Yo smoke go check the door"

He got up and went to check the door. We heard 3 pops and we automatically knew what was going down we grabbed our guns and ran in the hallway. There were 5 people wearing masks in the hallway. We can take them. We opened fire and them niggas ran outside like scared bitches. We went back inside but they came back with more people. They ambushed us and I was shot in the back and fell to the ground.
*Dallas POV*
"Yo Mar you good" I got no response ahh hell they got my nigga Mar. I went after them but I was pistol whipped. Then I was picked up by a big dude. He held the gun to my back. "Put in the combination" these niggas trying to rob me. I can't fight back though I'm too weak. I was standing there and I felt my blood run down my head.

"I aint opening shit" I spit on him and he left the room and came back with Ty. He held the gun to Ty's temple.
"Now open it or I'll put one straight in his brain". Damn they got Ty now I gotta open it. I put in the combination and they took the money out. They turned around and shot me and Ty 3 more times. I know this is not how Dallas ends not being shot to death in his own trap by some low lifers that just want my money. I saw a bright light and someone standing there. The person raised their gun and shot me one last time before walking out.

I heard someone call my name so I looked around and saw Marisa.

"Marisa"

She outstretched her arms. I was about to walk over but she stopped me.
"Fight Dallas" her voice sounded so angelic like when I first met her.

"I miss you Marisa"

"I miss you too but fight it's not your time"

"It wasn't your time either" she put her finger on my lips and shushed me. She held me in her arms until everything went black.
*Beauty's POV*

I'm spending the day with Natalie, Diva and Braelynn. We decided to go to Starbucks and the mall. We pulled up to Starbucks. We all sat down I ordered a shaken sweet tea lemonade and a ham and Swiss panini, Natalie got a roasted tomato and mozzarella panini with a orange mango smoothie , Braelynn got a chicken BLT salad sandwich and a lemon ale fizzio. Diva got yogurt and shaken ice tea.

"So Braelynn about your grandma"

"Come on Mrs.Naomi do we have to talk about her"

"Yes she's your legal guardian and she needs to know your whereabouts"

"I texted her I'm staying with a friend and she said good don't come back"

"Why does your grandma treat you that way" Natalie asked taking a sip of my drink.

"Well it's probably cause of my actions such as stealing and smoking dope"

"Well you don't anymore right"

"Right Mrs. Naomi turned me around"

. Diva has really taken a liken to Braelynn she even calls her sister. I guess I'm raising Braelynn now and I have to admit it's weird raising Dallas's ex's daughter but I look at Braelynn as if she were my own. We got to the mall and we went into finish line. We were shopping for shoes when I got a call from Nico.

*Phone Convo*

Nico: Beauty it's Mar, Dallas, Smoke, Ty, and Dewayne

Me: what about them

Nico: they've been shot come to the hospital now

Me: dear god okay I'm on my way
*End of phone call*

Guys we have to go to the hospital lets go." I picked up Diva and we left for the hospital. I had tears in my eyes and once we got to the hospital I broke down. Diva walked over and she sat in my lap. She wiped my tears and kissed me. Natalie cried in Braelynn's arms. Just then the doctor walked out. We all stood up and ran over to him.

"Im guessing you all are here for the 5 gentleman who were shot" I nodded my head and the doctor cleared his throat.

"Well to be blunt Mr. Amari Jhonson might never walk again. Mr. Dallas Hall is in a coma. Mr. Tyrone Peterson is stable and awake. Mr. Travis Booker is stable but not yet awake, and Mr. Dewayne Parker is stable as well."

"Doctor can we go see them" he nodded his head and escorted us towards their rooms. We walked into Ty's room.

"Ty you lucky bastard what happened"

"How am the lucky one"

"Well everyone else isn't awake yet but who did this"

"I don't know man I wish I did"

"They got the boys"

"Ah man all I remember is them getting smoke then we tried to go after them but they were too quick"

"This is terrible" I started crying again and Ty grabbed my hand. I can't believe this happened to him. This is the price I pay for dating a thug. Braelynn sat in the corner of the room and she cried. I didn't even know she cared about him that much. I walked over and hugged her and we cried together and hugged each other. I love all those guys laying in those beds they are fam. I realized Braelynn was sleeping in my arms. I looked over at Natalie and she had Diva in her arms asleep. I decided to go in Dallas room stay there and Braelynn followed me in and got back in my embrace. She fell asleep once again. I held onto her and kissed her forehead. I ran my fingers through her long hair. I looked to Dallas and I got up to kissed him. His lips were cold. I prayed that Dallas and the rest of the boys eventually get up until I fell asleep.
