Right under a dark night sky, a white ground. The city lights shined brighter than ever that the stars were barely seen.
After all it was snowing, December was really cold.
He stood amongst the crowds waiting for the green light, crossed the street and walked past many stores, heading straight towards his destination.
He was very warmly dressed, Louis did not only layer his sweater under that coat, he also had gloves on and a blue scarf up to his ears.
He finally walked into the small coffee shop right by the corner and felt relieved once the door behind him was shut.
Welcomed by the kind looking waiter and the easy going music which healed his ears from all the loud noises he had to deal with outside.
"LOUIS"
The little one shouted, running towards his older brother.
Louis was happier to see Edmund who jumped into his arms.
"Acting like we do not live together, are we?"
He asked, since they were together just a couple of hours ago.
Louis laughed it off and carried Edmund back to his chair.
"You're late"
Elmer complained.
You would take a second before you can tell they were siblings. The same hair and eyes that stood out in crowds.
"My class ran late"
Louis replied while taking off his scarf, coat and gloves.
Elmer wished he could laugh at how many clothes Louis had on even though it was not that cold, yet he did not want to piss him off.
A waitress immediately walked towards them which did surprise Louis since he did not place an order yet, but apparently the two could not wait for him and ended up ordering a bunch of sweets.
But before he got to say a thing, her silver hair did catch his eyes.
She calmly placed that plates on the table, as well as their hot chocolate drinks.
And he was just staring at her the whole time, Louis almost forgot to blink.
"LOUIS!"
He finally snapped out of it when Edmund shouted.
"Would you like anything else, sir?"
Aylin asked for the third time.
"Ah, no thanks"
He then replied.
"Please let me know if you need anything else"
She smiled softly saying.
"Thank you Aylin"
Elmer smiled back replying.
Once she walked away, Edmund and Elmer started by sipping their hot drinks.
"So good"
The little one said, he had some cream on his face.
Elmer trapped a napkin and wiped it for him.
"You know her?"
Louis asked out of nowhere.
"Yes, we have been friends since last semester"
Elmer replied while having a bite of one cookie.
"Are you interested?"
Elmer finally realized and could not miss the chance to tease Louis.
