Rajput Haveli

Naina smiled softly, her eyes radiating calm as she assured Rumika, "Aap chinta mat kariye, ab aapka beta meri zimmedari hai."
(Don't worry, ma'am, your son is now my responsibility.)

The Rajput family exchanged knowing glances, their secret tucked carefully beneath their warm expressions. Rumika gently patted Naina's head, murmuring a heartfelt blessing.

But behind Naina's serene confidence lay a mind buzzing with curiosity. Abhiraj Singh Rajput. Who is he? She had never heard about the eldest son of the family, a name that carried weight and power, but no one spoke of him openly. It was as though he were a mystery etched in silence.

As Naina placed her empty tea cup down, she turned to Rumika. "Waise, ma'am, Abhiraj ji kahaan hain? Unka treatment jetna jaldi suru ho wo jyada aacha ho ga."
(By the way, ma'am, where is Abhiraj? It would be better if his treatment starts as soon as possible.)

The room fell silent for a moment. Rumika's face softened, but her voice carried a hint of playfulness. "Woh jyada tar out of station hi rehta hai, beta. Apne kaam mein itne vyast hain ki ghar aane ka samay hi nahi milta."
(He is mostly out of station, dear. He is so busy with his work that he doesn't have time to come home.)

Danraj chuckled, his tone light. "Aur wapas aaye toh unka kaam aur bhi badh jayega, hai na?"
(And when he returns, his work will only increase, right?)

Naina nodded politely, but her curiosity only deepened. She didn't press further, sensing the topic wasn't open for casual discussion.

Breaking the momentary quiet, Kritika leaned forward, her voice warm. "Vaise, beta, tumhe ek baat batani thi. Hum sab tumse phyle bhi mil chuke hai, tumhare andar ek alag si shanti hai?"
(By the way, dear, we wanted to tell you something. We all have met you before, and there's a unique peace about you.)

Naina blinked, caught off guard. Before she can ask when, Kritika answered her unasked question.

Kritika exchanged a smile with Rumika before continuing. "Pehli baar humne tumhe dekha tha Bholenath ke mandir mein. Tumhara arti karne ka tarika... woh ekdum alag tha. Tumhare chehre ka noor aur tumhari aawaz-laga tha jaise Bholenath ne khud tumhe apna ashirwad diya ho."
(The first time we saw you was at the Bholenath temple. The way you performed the aarti... it was completely different. The radiance on your face and your voice- it felt as though Bholenath himself had blessed you.)
