Dinner was more quiet than anything. Neither of them really knew what they were going to discuss. So they sat in a comfortable silence that neither of them really understood. After dinner though, was another story. They decided that they were going to walk around the park. She was still amazed by the beauty of the place, it made her feel like she was living a fantasy.
She smiled widely and giggled happily. She looked at Michael, who was already looking at her with a strange sense of curiosity and pure happiness. He felt good that he was able to see her smile so happily, as if there was no care in the world. Which was almost true because she was only concerned with him, and he was right beside her. She felt no need to worry over anything.
Michael watched as she gazed at everything around her and took it in. Then when she turned to him with a mischievous smile, he knew that this was going to be the perfect night.
"So, what do you recommend we do first?"
"Hmm...let me think...........How about we have a water fight?"
"I thought that you would never ask." She pulled out a water gun, that she had been concealing in her purse the entire time, and shot at him. With his fast reflexes, she just missed him. She giggled and ran off before he could react. He giggled and ran after her, pulling out his own mini water gun. It was only good for two squirts, but he was confident that he wasnt going to miss. Even though he would never admit it, he coudnt always keep up with her, it was like she knew Neverland like the back of her hand.
So that meant he was put into the position of taking shortcuts that he never used, because he never had too. When she ran by, he pushed everything he had into the run, and tackled her to the ground. They rolled, and ended up actually falling into the pool-which was not his plan, he didnt realize how close they were to it. When they resurfaced they were laughing hard, and trying to get the hair out of there eyes.
"Are you okay? I didnt mean to actually tackle you into the pool."
"I am perfectly fine. That was amazing. But, i think that you should know that you lost the game."
"What?, I didnt lose anything."
"Yes, you landed in the water first, therefore I win."
He opened his mouth to object but closed it realizing she was right. So, he diverted to helping her get out of the pool. She was at the edge and was trying to push herself up, she was failing, partly because she was still laughing and partly because she was pretty tired. So he moved closer to her and put his hands on her hips then turned her around and lifted her into a sitting position on the side of the pool.
She continued laughing quietly until she noticed how close he was to her. It was hard not to fall in love with him all over again. She was happy that they had a future together, well at least for him. For her it was a matter of if she could get him to stop doing what ended up killing him. He stared into her eyes seeing everything clear as day. All the pain that she went through, though he didnt know it was because of him, all the love that she felt for him. He could see it, and something inside of him, ignited and his chest swelled with a feeling that he knew from past experiences. He had fallen in love with this woman. This beautiful, kind, hilarious, fun woman. This woman that seemed to know him and what he truly needed.
Without even thinking it through, he lifted himself up and out of the water-making her half to lean back and lay on the ground-all the water that had been soaked into his clothes began dripping like waterfalls onto her as he leaned over her. Then he moved swiftly and captured her lips with his.
