Spencer's pov:
I don't remember getting home last night. But I know it was late, because I have pictures on my phone that were taken at midnight. So I probably came home and fell asleep right away.
I checked my phone and I had 3 messages, 1 from my mom, one from Toby, and another one. I didn't know who it was from, it said "do you really know who you can trust? -A". At first I thought it was Aria, but this was from an unknown number, and I had Aria's number saved. So I just ignored the text.
I got dressed and went downstairs to eat breakfast, but I got a call from Hanna.
Hanna: hey, did you hear?
Me: hear about what?
Hanna: about Alison?
Alison was the most popular girl at school, everyone wanted to be friends with her. Me and my friends were sort of friends with her. We were never close.
Me: no. What about her?
Hanna: she went missing. They can't find her anywhere and she won't answer her phone. The police are looking for her now.
Me: she probably just got drunk last night, and stayed at some guys house.
Hanna: yeah you're probably right.
Then she hung up and I continued my day. I went to get coffee at the brew with Aria, did some homework, and talked to Toby on the phone for a while. We talked about that whole Alison thing, but we both thought she wasn't actually missing. Then I fell asleep, I had no idea that the next day would be so bad, if I did, I wouldn't have fallen asleep.
