[Name] had been put to bed after her fall. She was left to scowl at the ceiling, her head pounding and her vision going fuzzy every few seconds.
How the hell did I survive? Why did I have a vision of him going through the same thing? Is this event connected to him somehow?
She shakes her head. She deems it impossible. If it were linked to him, then wouldn't he have given her a clue as to where he was? It was impossible, but it isn't like [Name] didn't have her hopes up for a brief moment.
"Stupid...this is stupid!" [Name] grumbles to herself. "Why am I still here? Why didn't that dream-thingy tell me anything?!"
Technically it had given her something, but it isn't what she wants. She wants to remember him. She wants to talk to him. She wants him to fucking drag his ass back here so she can scream at him and hit him and hug him all at the same time, after she figures out the order to do them in.
She just wants him to come back to her. She doesn't care if she can't even remember his name. She just wants to verify that he is real (though she is already certain he is). She just wants to know that he is alive.
[Name] groans as the thinking makes sharp pains occur in her head. I may have survived, but I did not survive unscathed. True, she has no physical injuries, but her head is in extreme pain.
You know what, [Name]? Just go to sleep, she tells herself.
It is an easy thing to do because her body decides she needs restーmostly mentally.( ' ▽ ' )ノ
[Name] finds herself standing in the Sandbox of Twilight Town. She sees Seifer, who's reign of never-ending jerkiness doesn't surprise her.
She moves on from there, wandering and wondering what this is about. She walks through a wall and finds herself at the clock tower.
"Well, that makes total sense," she mumbles to herself. She knows for a fact that the clock tower is in the complete opposite direction from where she went.
Despite knowing this fact, she shrugs to herself and goes up the tower. Once she is up there, she sits on the ledge. When she looks down, her eyes widen.
She sees Hayner, Olette, and Pence chasing each other and laughing.
When she barely leans an inch forward, about to call out to them, someone shoves her from behind.
She remembers this feeling. She remembers the terrified feeling she felt when she had fallen before. Her heart is pounding rapidly and it feels like it is going to burst. She can't breathーshe cannot take in the slightest amount of oxygen.
Maybe she will survive like last time (but she doubts this greatly).
But this is different.
This doesn't feel like a dream. It feels too realー
This feeling of near death. . . Of dying.
She wants it to end.
She wants it to end RIGHT NOW.
The terror she is feeling (all these emotions) are too real.
And, for a long while, [Name] almost thinks this is real.
[Name] thinks she is going to die.
But then she falls into a purple-ish hole that looks like it has spirals in it. She isn't dead.
She is in a pure white room with only a bed.
"Where am I?" she asks herself.
"A place. You'll know soon enough," a voice answers.
[Name] whips around. She thought she was the only one here. But being alone with a stranger might be scarier than being alone.
"I'm not a stranger," the man with spiky red hair says.
"I've never met you in my entire life."
"Hmm...if you say so." He grins.
She frowns at him. "Who are you?"
"You'll know later."
"That helps so fucking much."
He only laughs and scolds her jokingly, "Watch your language."
"Whatever." She scans the room. "Now, I'll ask againーwhere am I?"
His green eyes glow in amusement. "A room in a place."
"Can you name somewhere specific?"
"That won't help you at all. You don't even know of this world."
She raises an eyebrow. "World?"
He covers his mouth. "Whoops. I let something slip." He doesn't sound regretful at all.
"Stop answering in puzzles."
"I wouldn't say that if I were you." He smirks. "After all, I am in control."
"What does that mean?" [Name] questions, annoyed.
He waves his hand at the blank wall and suddenly an image appears.
Her eyes widen. "It's him!"
"You're lucky he's so fond of you. Otherwise, you could have died," the red-head tells her.
"Huh? What's that supposed toー"
"Seems like time's almost up. You're gonna wake up soon, [Name]," he interrupts the girl.
"How the hell do you know my name?" she nearly yells at him.
"He's always been fond of you. I even told him your name once. I have my resources." He winks at her.
"Tch."
Her dream begins to fade.
"I am your savior," he begins.
She sees that he's about to disappear. "Don't go!"
Alas, she has no control over the dreams and it continues to fade away.
"I'm the one who gave you a memory of his. I'm the reason you're not dead from your fall."
[Name]'s eyes grow wide, slowly realizing what he just implied.
"My name is Axel. Got it memorized?"( ' ▽ ' )ノ
"What the heck was that?" [Name] mutters under her breath, rubbing her temples. "Ugh, at least the headache's gone."
But she continues to lie there. How did he save me from dying when I fell off the clock towerーif he was even there? I never saw him. But he claims to know him so can he really be that dangerous? Why the hell was he in my dream?
[Name] turns her head towards the window and just stares, remembering the words the man with glowing green eyes spoke:
"I am your savior.
"I'm the reason you're not dead from your fall.
"My name is Axel. Got it memorized?"
Yes, she has it memorized. Forgetting someone she met in a dreamーsomeone that confusingーis a pretty difficult task.
But he's a clue to finding him, and [Name] would rather not toss that clue away.(=゚ω゚)ノ
