They all laugh as the captain ran then stood at attention. They saluted him and he saluted them back and said "at ease". They went back to normal. One of them looked at Leo (his nickname) "hey where was you last night?". He grinned and chuckled "just fooling around with some chick" then he burst out in laughter and the others also burst out laughing. He stood up straight and pulled a chair out plopping down in it. He looked out the window "afoughly quiet today eh?". They all looked at Leo and nodded. A corporal walked in with a few papers and Leo looked at him "what is it you need son?". The kid looked at him "3 Thompsons and 4 boxes of ammo sir". He nodded and jastered at the other guys and they ran grabbing the guns and ammo. They ran back to the kid and handed him the weapons and ammo. "Thank you" he then turned and walked away. Leo fell asleep as the others went out for a smoke break. What he didn't know what was just a few clicks out of the harbor where mostly every U.S. battle ship, Carrier, destroyers, PT boats and etc.
