The next morning I had a small bag packed with food, water, and the map. As I pulled out a pack of Prime Times and light one of the cigars Hunter opened his eyes. "What'd I miss?" His voice was full of sleep. "Raise and shine we are going to kill Karlucust."

"It's Karluclus and I'm starved. Breakfast?" Hunter rose up and set the table. I rolled my eyes and took a drag of my Prime Time. I sat down and ate in a rush. Hunter was on his third bite, he was obviously stalling. "How did you sleep?"

"Fine, let's go."

"How do you like it down here, in my cave at least?" He askes in between bites.

"The cave is comfortable but I always feel like I'm in danger. Can we go?"

Hunter finished his food and started packing another pack for him. "Listen to me Brooke. Karluclus is manipulative and uses fear and any distrusts we have against one an other. Just promise to trust me and we can be free." I nodded already unsure, but he needed to die. "Let's roll out!"

We exited the cave and I finally got a good look of The Underground. It's completely horrifying. Chills bite my skin as I felt pain and evil surrounding this land. I gasped through bile and scanned the map. To the rocky canyon looking place I guess. Hunter pointed north-east, "The canyon is over there maybe an eight hour walk to get all the way through."

"We should really start walking then."

So our trek began and it was gonna be a long one.
