says juju putting her phone down, and facing lamine.
"yeah." "well i don't know my dad. nico does though. it's a really long story." "i got time."
"oh ok. well nico knew my dad for 6 years. meaning the minute i was born he left. and that was because my dad wanted a boy. not a girl. so my mom raised me and nico here in Barcelona as you know, until one day she left and never came back. i was about 6. me and nico moved in with our auntie until she died, which when nico was already 18. so he could technically adopt me. and ever since we've lived together. i don't know where my mom is. the police said to just say she's gone but if i don't see a body i won't except it. because my mom truly cared."
lamine had his eyebrows raised and slowly walked up to juju, giving her a hug.
juju wanted to let go but couldn't. 'god dammit.' she thought to herself. ugh she hated that she loved his hugs.
"now you gotta tell me what happened with you and alex."
lamine rolled his eyes and groaned. "she cheated." "again?" "don't try to make me feel even more bad."
juju sighed and shrugged.
"happens to the best of us." lamine chuckled a bit and admired juju.
"what about you and xavier?" "ehh he was fake." "oh sorry about that." "nah your all good."
lamine then looked at his hands, and then looked at hers.
they both had their promise ring from when they were 4.
"nice ring." said lamine with a laugh. juju looked at her hand and smiled.
