Chapter Five

*****The Night of******
Jeanette's POV
I look up from my homework to see my phone light up, I smiled, it was Hayes. I quickly saved his contact as
"Hayes😍🙊"
Hayes😍🙊: Hey it's Hayes
Me: Hey Wyd?
Hayes😍🙊: Nothing much just chillin' on the couch with Nash. Hbu?
Me: Just finished my homework, hold on my mom is calling me.
Hayes😍🙊: Okay
15 mins later...
Me: Okay I'm back sorry
Hayes😍🙊: No it's cool what did she need?
Me: Oh she was just telling me that we're going over to my neighbors house for dinner because I just moved in to a new home. She kept going on and on about how it's "important to know your surroundings..."
Hayes😍🙊: Really? Because my mom just peeked her head in my door to tell me that our new neighbors are coming over for dinner tomorrow...weird.
Me: lol, you never know we could be neighbors.
Hayes😍🙊: Anyway, I'm getting tired. I'll talk to you tomorrow
"But we don't have school tomorrow" I said to myself
Me: Goodnight
Hayes😍🙊:Goodnight💘
I rolled over to the other side of my bed as my eyes widened and relaxed as I smiled at the ceiling. "He sent an arrow heart" I said to myself sighing and instantly falling asleep.

****The Next Morning****
I grabbed my phone realizing it's Saturday morning. I checked the time it's 9:03 AM. I got up and walked over to my bathroom, I washed my face with cleanser and brushed my hair putting it up in a ponytail. I walked out onto my balcony and looking straight I could see a house with the same model as my house, there was a balcony just like mine, I also saw a ladder, I looked down my balcony to see a ladder also. All of a sudden I see somebody walk out onto the balcony I saw straight in front of me, it was a boy, strangely familiar, I took a closer look to realize it was Hayes. My neighbor is Hayes Grier.
