Chapter Ten

I opened my eyes from the sun shining right into my eyes. I looked to my alarm clock and saw it read 12:56 pm. My eyes widened as I began to talk.
"Hayes wake-" he wasn't there, his clothes were gone and he put the shorts in the laundry basket.
"Where is he?" I said to myself.
He probably went home but he could've told me...I never minded that and washed my face. I fixed my hair into a ponytail and fixed my bed. I put on some house slippers and walked downstairs, as I was walking I smelt cooking so I walked into the kitchen and found Hayes making breakfast.
"Hello my handsome." I said coming in for a kiss
"Look who decided to wake up."
"Whatcha cookin'?" I said opening the fridge
"Sausage and eggs." I scoffed at the idea of him cooking
"What's this?" I said pointing to a letter on the fridge doors
"Oh that's a letter your parents left. They said they went to a church community get together with my parents also."
I nodded
"How long have you been up?" I said taking over the stove
"Literally twenty minutes ago."
"Mmmm"'
I stirred around the food on the pan as I felt Hayes hands on my waist and his chin resting on my shoulder. I laughed as he tickled my sides and kissed behind my ear. I turned off the stove and grabbed out two plates. I set the two plates of food on the counter and we ate.
     Once we were done eating, I took both of the plates and placed them in the dishwasher.
"So I was thinking," Hayes said turning around
"Thinking about what?"
"I mean we haven't gone on a real date so I want to take you somewhere ."
"Okay where do you want to go?" I said wrapping my hands around his neck
"I was thinking of the county fair."
My eyes widened and a smile spread across my face
"Yea I would love to!" I exclaimed
"Tonight?"
"Tonight!"
"It's a date."
I wrapped my legs around his torso and he kissed me, he licked my bottom lip asking for entrance which I granted, a single kiss turned into a hot make out section. He picked me up and laid me on the couch, I ran my fingers through his hair and moaned as he found the sweet spot on my neck. We heard someone walking up stairs, it was Jack. I quickly pulled away from the kiss and ran outside with him.
"You have to go, nobody knows you're here."
He bit his knuckle as I fixed his hair so nothing was suspicious.
"Ok I'll pick you up at five."
"You drive?"
"I have a permit."
He kissed me one last time and made his way back home.
Hayes POV
I ran up to the porch of my house and quickly opened the door, I tried to close it as quietly as possible. But when I turned around I saw my mom.
"Where have you been?" She said with her arms crossed
