It's cold.

After the day i got sold by the Village chief without my Brother consent, i was moved to a new cell. Somehow, they seemed to keep their guards up on me. My new place is even further deeper, which concerned me a little too much.

I want my brother.

...

Ellane's is a quiet boy from the very start, with less friends nor reputation at the village to begin with. However, his brother is the complete opposite.

His brother, more like a twin but slightly older, Allene. Allene is a very cheerful and bright kid who always wandered around the village, helping elders, have many friends, basically the light for the Villagers.

Allene and Ellane have been abandoned since birth and were sent to the Orphanage.

Many have conclusions that they're both is actually of noble blood due to their unique features, and probably was thrown away because the Family won't accept twins as a circumtances.

Although so, they're able to live on until now thanks to the Orphanage care.

Ellane had always believed their parents will someday pick them up. And whenever he talked about it with his brother, Allene looks like he's ignoring him and never believed it.

But Ellane kept having faith on their parents. Anticipating that perhaps their parents will accept them again.

...

My brother have always been the center of attraction, and i idolized him so much for that. Except the fact he rarely play with me because he have so many friends.

He once told me when he just came back from playing. I was supposed to be sleeping that time, but i actually got half-woken up by the door creak. My brother didn't realized that.

He approached me silently, it felt eerie and.. pitiful? the footsteps so light and careful. My brother settled next to me, sitting besides my sleeping body.

Although he back-faced me, i could tell something is wrong. More as i listened intently when my Brother muttered something under his breath. "Ellane. My dear brother Ellane.. i don't want you to get involved. Please stay quiet, and please.. stay alive this time."

Hearing it obviously made the young Ellane got shocked to the extreme, almost exposing his camouflage. What do you mean Allene? i'm always alive. I'm healthy thanks to you.. what else could've gone wrong?

Allene took a brief break moment before heading back out the room, but with more sounds on his footsteps.

Ellane abruptly raised from his napping position and sat there speechlessly. His mind, seems blank trying to discern what Allene meas.
I wonder what does he mean..

...

And then the incident happened.

It was at one night, exactly where the Villagers in celebrating today success. Ellane was alone on his and Allene room, only watching other people having a party while reading a story book. He's not all interested in actuality, it's only because Allene is the one who gave it to him.

He's too focused on the story he only reacted slightly earlier when the door opened with a slow, deliberate movement.

Ellane raised his head and placed down his story book. It might be Allene.

Slowly, the person behind the door showcased their whole appearance. It's not his brother, rather, a stranger.

An older man about six feet tall approached him. Ellane, although barely socializes, knew that this stranger is not from the village. Who is he?.. he's looking so suspicious..is what he immediately thought.
