Chapter 22

The moment I wake up I feel my stomach twist. I turn my head and see Cameron fast asleep. I can hear some of the Clan getting ready. So I wake Cameron up and we get ready for the biggest day in our lives so far. Everyone is in the living room waiting on Joanna. Once she gets here she doesn't say anything just looks at us, then motions that we should go. We follow Joanna the whole way to the clearing and stop by where the school use to be. Joanna pulls Cameron a side when she's done talking to him she looks at me before she starts walking to the clearing.

When the clearing comes to sight we can see that Red and his minions are already there. Red smiles when he see's us.

"I didn't think you would come. I was positive you'd go on the run again"

He says while giving me his famous smirk.

"It's time to end this feud Red. This has been going on for too many years and now it ends today."

Joanna says while looking at Red emotionless. Which is new since I expected her to be looking at him with disgust or hate. Instead of saying anything Red grabs her by the throat and throws her through the air. Joanna comes down like she wasn't thrown.

"Alright if that's how you want it"

With that we all attack. Joanna goes to Red while I go for his right hand man.

Third POV

In just a few seconds everything has gone to chaos. Everyone from the Clan is spread out having little time to help their friends. The Clan didn't think that the enemies would be so hard to defeat. Skylar is off in the distence fight off Red and one of his minons. While Skylar looks at them fight she doesn't notice one of his minions creeping up on her. Till Allison comes and takes him down.

"Stop day dreaming Archar. Someone might not be there next time"

Allison says with a stern voice. Skylar nods and takes a breath while getting her rhythm back into play. She sticks close to Cameron since they both work best as a team. She wants to keep a close eye on Red and Joanna, but that doesn't seem to be happening anytime soon. Once Joanna thinks she has fended off his minions more come from thin air. Louis is off in the distance with Zayn by his side. Harry is being thrown across the air as Niall tries to fight off others. Liam is no where to be seen neither is Miranda. The twins have there hands full as does everyone else. No one in this battle has a free hand. Skylar just throws a minion to Cameron when an explosion throws her back.

Everyone is on the ground with ringing in their ears. Joanna is the first to get up, but feels like everything is going in slow motion. She looks around and see's everyone trying to get.

"See this. This is what you and your sister caused. This is what you  are meant to do, to create chaos. Stop fighting your destiny, this is the real you. You're stronger than your sister so far. You have most of your abilities. Just imagine what you can do with them."

Red whispers in her ear. Joanna looks around seeing the Clan fighting for their lives, fighting for their friends..... fighting as a family.

"I'll never be like you."

Joanna spits back while turning to face him. He looks at her with a smirk.

"You already are. You're sister doesn't kill people, but you do. You're half way their to becoming the monster you should be. Like the father you've only known, me."
