LIFE BEFORE FINN AND JAKE

BEFORE, THE MUSHROOM WAR HAPPENED that destroyed the world and caused new creatures to be formed.

The war was probably done by people but caused by the Lich King. Lich was the mastermind behind all the destruction.

Missiles and bombs and more destruction occured in every part of the world.

Then, the world was quiet. No signs of living were on sight. Except little Marceline and Simon.

Everywhere they look, chaos dawned on them. And strangely enough, in the midst of the ruins and debris left from the war, bright pink sheets of bubblegum covered the whole city area. Dripping to the ground, all sticky and gooey everywhere.

Simon and Marcy went through everyday struggles. Simon, fighting off everyday to protect and take care of little Marcy, whilst feeling heartbroken because of his cancelled engagement and his break with his precious fiance.

And then, one day, princess bubblegum was formed, Marcy was still a kid and maybe Simon wasn't crazy yet, the three of them became close and best friends.

But then, maybe, it was time to fight the lich king, and in order to defeat him, Simon must wear the crown for its power. In the end, the lich was defeated and maybe contained(for a while), but Simon...

Simon... completely lost it because of using the crown's power to its full extent. It required him to completely surrender himself to the crown. Everything -- his life, his sanity, his free will -- his friends.

And Bubblegum, although was grateful to him, had no choice but to do something about it -- like say...

Exiling the now named Ice King to the Icy Mountains (or something like that).

But Marcy on the other hand, after spending her childhood and was perhaps loved by the man, was attached to Simon -- err, Ice King. She was more attached to him compared to Pb, and it broke her heart to having to choose which side she'll choose. And she chose Simon.

So, his exile-ation probably led to a sort of argument -- no. Ruin between the girls, but Marcy knew Pb was right despite her feelings. So Ice King was exiled.

Perhaps, Marcy and Pb were still friends after that time -- but their friendship was strained by then. Soon, the Candy Kingdom was formed and Bubblegum became their princess. Marcy felt lonely and left out because Pb was getting busier with her role as the princess --- too busy to spend time with her best and first friend, and Marcy gradually felt insecure towards Pb (not being perfect, etc. etc.) and she couldn't possibly confide in Simon now, because he doesn't remember her anymore...

In the end... The two girls parted ways without having their closure that would have balmed their hearts...

Then came along Finn.. And the story continues as Adventure Time...

That's what I suspect anyway. Hey, maybe I'm wrong. Maybe Pb's not less that a thousand or hundred years old. Anyway, this is my fan fiction.

        One year later, this story was FINALLY edited. Hahaha.
