"Yeah I'm...uh...perfectly fine." Brayden said "Good catch by the way." "Thanks." she said blushing just a little. "Oh, here's your football." "My name's Brayden" he said taking the football out of her hands. "Bella" she said. "Well it was great having you score me a touchdown. I'll see you around?" "You're welcome and you definitely will." Brayden then walked back to his friends and Bella walked over to hers after finding a space by her dad to put her stuff down.
•Her POV•
"Who was that?" her friend Emily said winking and nudging her arm like all best friends do. "His name is Brayden and I met him about 15 seconds ago."she said. "Well I think he's cute."Emily said. "Em, you think every guy who makes eye contact with you is cute." "Hey I'm a hunter, when I find him, I have to keep him before anyone else gets him....got it?" "Yeah I got it, but you know you have to talk to him before you can 'keep him' right?" Bella said laughing. "Oh shush I'll talk to someone of the hot male species someday and you know it" Emily responded. "Sure I do." Bella said. Then they grabbed their boogie boards and went for a swim.
•His POV•
"Dude that girl caught the ball better than you did!!" Anthony said laughing while more of their friends started laughing also. "It was probably just a lucky catch." Brayden said getting kind of embarrassed, but trying to make himself look better. "I was like an inch away from getting that ball anyways." he said. "Whatever dude. Whoever that girl was who caught that ball was, she was hot." Brayden stood up and said "Yeah she was, wasn't she?" Then they got back to their game, Brayden taking little glances of Bella swimming on her boogie board in the ocean.
