Frayed part 2

   Flashback------(3rd person pov.)

"ahh and who would that be?" McKenzie chuckled at Deucalion.

"No that's not how this works" I stood up leaning against his desk,

" I get my kids safe and sound then we can talk but until then no."

He sighed clapping his hands together standing to his feet.

"Mckenzie lets take a walk for a bit shall we?" He opened the door signaling for her to follow.

She took a deep breath before making her way out the door with him right beside her.

"Where are we going?" She glanced over at him as they stepped into the elevator.

Deucalion turned giving Mckenzie one of his famous smirks before answering,

" you do want your kids am I correct?" she furrowed her eyebrows in confusion

before realizing what he meant," You little-" "Ahh ahh none of that"

she growled before pouncing at Deucalion only for him to stab her in the shoulder

with his cane. She fell to the floor clutching her shoulder screaming out in pain.

He bent down patting her head ripping the cane from her shoulder before stabbing it into her other shoulder.

She let out an ear piercing scream even making Deucalion cover his ears

"I almost forgot about your banchee abilities"he chuckled

humorless taking the cane out once again, she glared up at him letting out a groan,

" why does it hurt this bad?" She cried. "Mistletoe"

Mckenzie's vision started going in and out so she laid her head down

on the elevator floor trying to focus her eyesight, until the elevator dinged signaling

they have arrived. Just then Ennis and Kali rounded the corner,

they let out a gasp at their fellow friend and beta's condition

but quickly covered it up not showing a weakness,

Ennis bent down picking Mckenzie up bridal style trailing behind Kali and Deucalion

" Ennis? Wha-whats going on?" Mckenzie asked trying to meet Ennis' gaze

Mckenzie's pov
"Ennis keep her back here until I give the signal"

I heard Deucalion speak to Ennis as I was set on the floor.

I turned my head at the sound of Scott's bike pulling in. "you didn't come alone."

Deucalion spoke. "I know this is Isaac." "I'm not talking about Isaac"

I furrowed my eyebrows as everything got quiet until I heard a familiar growl.

"You knew I would do this. Derek don't! No one has to get hurt" Scott begged,

" I want him, just him" I guess Derek was talking about Deucalion cause everyone else was in hiding.

Deucalion chuckled before speaking," Just me? now how's a

blind man find his way into a place like this, all on his own."

That must have been everyone's signal to go cause Ennis lifted me up onto my

feet helping me to stand then gripping my forearm dragging me beside Deucalion.
