As today is mehandi and haldi function. so,there was so much chaos happening and all were so busy in their work.
The wedding will be tomorrow on shafiq mother's request,as she didn't have any interest in hindu marriage functions.she wants that wedding would be happened with muslim customs and nikkah would be organised.
But Amrita dadi refused her and agreed to everyone by her dadi card. so shafiq's mother ramila has to be agreed on her word as she is elder than her, but she also played very well as she convinced everyone for short and early marriage,that to be within two days.
so, today is mehendi & haldi function and tomorrow would be wedding as per Hindu rituals. Everyone agreed with these and chatterings of guests and almost preparation for mehndi function is done.
shlok ji who was looking at the decorations said to rafik ji "yrr dekh ab yeh theek haina"(look is it fine now)
rafik ji looked at the decorations which shlok ji improved with the help of workers said "haa ab yeh theek hai waise bhi shidhu ko jyada phulo se allergy ho jati hai"(Yes it is ok now anyway Sheedhu is allergic to too many flowers)
shlok ji nod at him and said "pehle toh inhone bass flowers hi lagaye the"(earlier they only sticked flowers)
rafik ji said "aacha hua hamne dekh liya"(It was good we saw it)
shlok ji replied him "haa tum sahi keh rahi nhi toh aastha kehti aapse esa bhi nhi hota and mimicked her"(yes you are right, otherwise aastha would say this cannot happen to you)
rafik ji said "aree Bhai chup ho jao nhi tumhare saath meri bhi shamat aaygi"(Hey brother keep quiet otherwise I will also be in trouble along with you)
shlok ji said "haa sahi keh rahe ho aur sabhi mehman ke saamne.....na baba"(Yes you are right and in front of all the guests.....No Baba) with horrified expression in his face.
rafik ji said "haa chalo caterers ka kaam ek baar check kar lete hai"(Yes, let's check the caterers' work once) and they moved towards catering side.
After one hour......
All women's were seated in circles and some were playing dholaks and other were singing with her. mens were standing at side and gazing at ladies dancing and singing.
shobha ji said to one of women who was playing dholak "aree jara theek se bajaye hamri shidhu ki shadi hai"(Hey, please play it properly, it's our Sheedhu's wedding) on her words that women smiled at her and played another song.
amrita ji said "Shobha beta jao shidhu ko le aao"(shobha beta ho and bring shidhu)
shobha ji replied to her "haa aunty woh aashu aur anam aate hi honge lo aa gaye"(yes aunty aashu and anam were about to come and there are here) and looked towards stairs were she was descending stairs with aastha ji and Anam at her either sides.
