The absence of fear is not confidence. It is the willingness to do what is right despit the odds. Fear is a reaction to a stimuli that affect the individual. Confidence is a response, a conscious one, that takes the group (people other than oneself) into consideration. Fear can imediatley be seen and unfortunately condemed as cowadice. Confidence is hardly noticed but has lasting effect on ones character and the lives of others. Sometimes one act of confidence brings forth many a domino effect of positive change.
