The wedding was a simple affair. It took place in the village church, which was small, simple, yet filled with an air of warmth and tradition.

Taehyung stood at the front, his hands tucked into his pockets and Jungkook, on the other hand, stood beside Taehyung, his calm smile hiding his nervousness.

Taehyung looked tense and irritated during the whole ceremony, his jaw clenched as the vows were exchanged.

"I promise," Jungkook began, his words simple, "to be here, through everything. For the good, the bad, the quiet and the loud. I'll stand by you."

He paused," I know it won't always be easy, and I know we may not always see things the same way. But I chose this, hyung. "

The sincerity in his tone is reflecting with his words."I'll do my part. I'll listen, I'll learn, and I'll do everything I can to make this work."

Taehyung felt suffocated after listening to Jungkook's vows...his anger building up,after listening to the promises that Jungkook just made. He hated it...thinking it's all fake...He hated every bit of it...

Then it was his turn, Jimin, his bestfriend, nudged him, to speak...
Taehyung nodded...he took a deep breath...as he began to speak, his voice low...almost mechanical...
"I...I promise,to be here with you for better or for worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health, will always fulfill the duties as a husband."
His tone was firm, but without emotion, his eyes not meeting Jungkook's as the words fell from his lips, an obligation fulfilled rather than a vow of deep affection.

The ritual was complete. The room was filled with the murmurs of the gathered crowd, all Taehyung could feel was the distance between the promise he had made and the emptiness of his heart.
He made no effort to smile, his eyes cold and distant, scanning the room without really seeing anything.
He looked at his pparents, having conversation with the village folks...greeting them...

They all went to the house after all the rituals were over. As Namjoon has arranged a party there.

The small, cozy courtyard of Namjoon's house was alive with chatter and laughter. Wooden benches had been arranged around long tables, covered in plain white cloth. The sounds of birds chirping and the rustling of trees in the cool afternoon breeze could be hear...

"I don't understand why Namjoon agreed to this," one of the older women began to talk...as they were sitting on on of the corner table..."He's such a wise man, always making the right decisions for his family. But this? Marrying his brother off to Taehyung of all people?"

A younger woman nodded, lowering her voice even further. "Exactly! Have you seen how Taehyung behaves? Always so rude and the way he snapped at Mr. Han last month over the cattle? It was so unnecessary."

Another chimed in,"They say he has a temper. That he gets angry over the smallest things. It's not normal. Why would Namjoon allow Jungkook to marry him?"

An older woman added, "Namjoon is practical. Maybe this was for the sake of something. But still... poor Jungkook. He's such a sweet boy."

Another women said, "I don't think Taehyung even smiled during the wedding. Did you see the way his jaw was clenched the whole time? It was like he didn't want to be there at all."

"That's true," another woman agreed. "And when Mrs. Kang tried to congratulate him outside the church, he barely nodded at her! So rude."

The younger lady, added, "Do you think something's wrong with him? You know... in the head?

"Well," one of them finally said, "whatever it is, it's Namjoon's decision. Atleast, we know that he won't let anything happen to his brother..."

Taehyung sat alone near the edge of the courtyard...the murmurs from the group of women in the corner reaching his ears.

"Rude... cold... temper..."

"Always angry... poor Jungkook... something wrong in the head."

He clenched his jaw harder. His mind raced, the familiar heat of anger bubbling over. But he didn't let it explode.

He stood up abruptly and walked past the group, not looking at them as he muttered loud enough for them to hear, "Fucking idiots."

The women's eyes widened, their gossip faltering for a moment as some of them shot angry glances his way.

"Did you see that? What a brat," one woman hissed under her breath. "No manners, no respect for anyone."

On the other hand, The small cottage, set just a short distance from the main house, was dimly lit with a warm glow from the lamps placed around the room. The wooden furniture was simple but sturdy, and the bed large and inviting...which had been adorned with fresh white sheets and a scattering of delicate white rose petals. Yoona softly place the pillow and blanket...

"This will do nicely," she said with a satisfied nod.

Jimin smiled, tossing red rose petals onto the bed. The two worked in silence for a moment, before Yoona glanced at Jimin, her curiosity getting the better of her. "So, you're Taehyung's friend? He's... a bit of a mystery to most of us. You must know him well."

Jimin laughed lightly, shaking his head. "He's not the easiest person to understand, but once you do, you see he's not as cold as he seems."
Yoona nodded slowly, her brow furrowed in confusion. But she shrugged off the thoughts, deciding to let it go for now. "I guess we'll see."

As they're given the load of arranging the bedroom of the newlyweds...Jimin being friendly and Yoona being the quiet yapper... They became friends really quick...

Once the bed was ready, the two stepped back to admire their work. The room was warm and inviting, with soft lighting and petals scattered across the bed and room.

"I think we did a decent job," Yoona said with a nod.

Jimin agreed."Let's see if the newlyweds appreciate it."

The sound of approaching footsteps outside caught their attention. Yoona's grin widened, and she quickly gestured for Jimin to follow her to the door.

"Time to play our part," she whispered, her eyes sparkling with mischief.

A moment later, Jungkook appeared in the doorway, his face flushed, and his hands fidgeting with the hem of his hanbok. He looked both nervous and flustered, clearly aware of what the night symbolized.

"Jungkook," Yoona called, her tone playful, "everything's ready in the cottage. It's time for you to head over."Jungkook's ears turned red.

Jimin stepped forward, his devilish grin "Don't be so shy, Jungkook. It's your big night. I think Taehyung already waiting for you."

His cheeks were already flushed, turning a deeper shade of red.Jungkook looked like he wanted the ground to swallow him whole. "Please stop," he muttered...

Yoona couldn't resist saying, " how adorable."

Jimin laughed..."Relax. It's just one night. Well, the first of many."

Yoona chuckled softly, shaking her head. "Go on, Jungkook. We've made everything perfect for you two. Just... enjoy the moment."

Jungkook smiled shyly, mumbling a quick thanks before heading toward the cottage.

"He's so easy to tease," Jimin said.

Yoona laughed. "That's Jungkook for you."

Jimin smiled hearing that...
The two walked back toward the main house. Once they reached the door, Jimin paused.

"You go ahead. I'll join you in a bit," he said.

Yoona nodded.
